Satellite City QA-6 NCF Quick Aerosol Accelerator 6 oz

Let me first explain how I found this item and what I purchased it for. I recently installed some crown molding onto my kitchen cabinets and came across this glue and aerosol activator in a DIY video online. This aerosol activator is meant to be used on the CA Glues and you need this activator specifically for the CA Glues. This activator makes the glue harden into the strongest bond I've ever seen within seconds! The glue will literally hold ANYTHING together within SECONDS! I purchased all three glues. The difference between the three glues is their viscosity basically. The thickest of the three glues worked great on my crown molding because I didn't have to worry about the glue running on vertical surfaces. All three glues work amazingly. You just put the glue on what you want glued then spray the activator on either the glue or surface/object you are applying the glue to. Within 5-10 seconds max of holding whatever your gluing together, it is rock solid and NOT coming apart. This glue is way better than any wood glue or super glue that I have ever used. I glued one end of my 8ft. crown molding to the cabinet to hold it in place on the cabinet so I could continue gluing the remainder of the length down my cabinet. With just one end of a hanging 8ft. piece of molding glued, it literally stuck to the cabinet while the weight of the molding and unglued side hung off from the cabinet without the glued side coming apart. I definitely recommend this product if you need ultra strong glues for projects. It hardens within seconds literally. The three different glue thicknesses is handy, because the thicker glue is good as acting as a gap filler and glue that won't run on vertical surfaces. Best of all, if you happen to mistakenly glue something incorrectly, there's a special dissolving solvent created by the same company for this glue specifically. I had glued one of my pieces of molding slightly unlevel and thought I was crap out of luck; however, after applying the solvent solution a few times directly to the hardened glue area, it dissolved the glue off and released its bond. The glue and solvent area that I had to remove did leave a small damaged area behind on the molding, but it was easy to just recut the molding and hang it up correctly. Also, please note that you want good ventilation when using the aerosol activator indoors or in closed spaces because the fumes are extremely strong smelling and linger in closed areas.

This product is truly amazing. Squirt the tiniest bit on CA glue and it cures instantly. I use it on many things, but the most important for me was repairing a granite countertop, mix in a little bit of coloring agent. In my case graphite, get a little bit in there. Hit it with the product and it is as hard as a rock. It is not inexpensive but in my view it is absolutely worth the price. I would buy it again and a can will last you a very very long time. Definitely recommended.

Excellent CA glue accelerator! I used it with Satellite City Super-T glue. Just apply the glue to the parts and position them correctly, then give a very quick spray with the accelerator. The parts are instantly frozen in place, you don’t have to wait for the glue to setup or dry. It’s magic!

It does what it's supposed to do and stinks like hornet spray like all the rest, not much else to say about it.

Good product

I normally purchase Starbond canned accelerator but thought I'd try this highly rated brand. It works just fine and is almost identical to the Starbond except for the smell and has a slightly larger spray pattern. I've read complaints from both brands that it turns your dried CA glue a crusty white color. If this is happening to you, you're holding the spray too close to your target. It's meant to be used as a fine mist, not a drenched liquid onto the CA. I find that the spray pattern on the Satellite City spray pattern takes some getting used to. It throws a larger pattern than the Starbond can so you can overspray too much in a hurry. I've found the best distance is at least 6-8" or more. I wish all accelerators used a finer spray pattern because so much goes to waste. Now for the smell test. I like the Satellite City fragrance better than Starbond's but it's just a bit too potent. The fragrance is a little overbearing and lasts hours in the workshop. I'd suggest that they just tone it down a little. I'd buy it again since they are both nearly the same cost. No matter the brand, you just need to learn to get the spray pattern correct. As for Starbond's pump spray, it's horrible and has a very poor spray pattern. If you buy that, just pour it into your own spray bottle that has a nice fine spray pattern. Speaking of which, I hope Satellite City comes out with a liquid version so I can refill my own sprayer.
