It's still in the box being displayed as a collector's item, because we don't want to "mess it up". It's really cute and unique. It made for a wonderful, nostalgic gift for a grown Alf fan. Arrived quickly.

A great gift for ALF fans
I got this for my mother for her birthday and she loves it! He doesn’t grow a full afro like in the pictures but it definitely grows into something that nice to look at. My only complaint is that it should come with directions on how to grow the seeds. My mother and I had to look up the directions on the official website. It’s definitely worth it if you or someone loves ALF and wants to grow a chia pet.

After 25 years
I bought this for my grown son as a joking Christmas gift. When he was in his early teens I used to tease him that the only gift he would get was a Chia pet for Christmas. This year was that year, he absolutely loved it.
