What I needed

Not exactly white. Has a very light gray/bluish tinge. Doesn't quite match any of the other multitudes of white cords and cables normally found in a house. Which is a problem in that this is meant to extend one of those white cords.

These cables do what they're supposed to do - extend low voltage to devices with 5.5 mm barrel connectors. I've used them with 5v and 12v devices with up to 1 Amp current from each and these wires have no trouble conducting that voltage and current. These would work well for under-cabinet lighting or security cameras or any other low voltage, low current devices that have a 5.5 mm barrel connector. You can always find an adapter if the supplied 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm connector isn't the right size (that is a pretty common size for low voltage devices). Overall, these are nice well-made extension cables.

Because I ordered a security surveillance system, and the included power cords were too short for where I wanted to install the cameras.And these Tonton DC power extensions cables saved the day. And I like that this is a 2-pack set, and that the cables are well-made with good quality materials. Also, these extensions are compatible with most security cameras.
