Compatible with Nintendo Switch
Surprisingly, this worked with my Nintendo Switch, even though the listed system requirements seem rather explicit. Additionally, I was able to use a pro controller in wired mode on one of the USB ports, but it would only charge when the Switch was powered on (it always charges on a built-in USB port).

Great product. Works with MacbookPro and vertical henge dock. I'm using this for two primary reason. 1. I wanted Ethernet as opposed to wifi and 2.I wanted to have the ability to charge my iPhone 6S. The product works flawlessly so far. Plus I've got my MacbookPro plugged into a vertical henge docking station connected over mini display port to 2 external 27" monitors along with the sub Ethernet and now charging my iPhone. Very pleased!!!

Pretty fast, Idk what else to expect, its just a splitter. xD
Works really well, transfer speeds are good, feels very well built. Internet is very stable. Make sure you install the drivers before plugging it in. Only complaint is that it runs fairly warm, and I'm not sure if its because it's usb 3.0 or just the length of the cable. Doesn't seem to affect performance. 10/10, will update if anything changes. :D

Doesn't work with Windows 11
I could not connect ethernet to my Win 11 laptop using this adapter. The driver installed from their website doesn't help, so I had to return this item. Another model of the same company is working fine so I wanted to try this one with an extra usb port but sadly it did not work.

Device works well, however it doesn't let me connect to the ethernet port via a Mac. I'm assuming it is realted to the 5v port needing additional power, however it did not come with a cable to give it supplemental power.

Adapter doesn't work at all!
Adapter doesn't work at all. Just heating a lot! Ethernet port doesn't work either.

Works on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) running OS X High Sierra 10.13 (17A365).I did have to download and install software from J5create's website. (Sorry, Amazon won't let me put a link here)After installing (and rebooting), I had to also go into System Preferences > Security and Privacy and allow the new 'extension' to operate. Immediately afterward, the device appeared in my Network Preferences as a connection option. It also can be shared with Windows virtual machines within Parallels Desktop v11.2.3.No additional power supply was needed for USB 3.0 expansion or Gigabit ethernet.This review would have gotten five stars if it didn't need the driver (from J5Create dot com) to be installed. I prefer plug-and-play when possible.
