How sturdy is the helmet? Is it tough enough?

The helmet is a hard, plastic material. I would say it’s sturdy. It does not have any way to strap on so it just sits on the child’s head; so if your child leans over, it will fall off.

Does the fireman coat fit a 7 year old who wears size 8?

No, it will be too small. I had my 7 year old (who wears size 8) try it on and it was way too small. My other son who is 6 but wears size 5/6 can fit it. I originally bought this for my 2 year old who's obsessed with fire trucks. Hope this helps!

Is the helmet adjustable?

No, it is not, and my 2 granddaughters, agees 2 & 4, have a bit larger heads than other kids their ages, and the helmet does not fit their heads (never has). The 2 year old can put it on her head, but there is no strap or anything, and it falls right off, instantly. It’s a cute toy/gift, but the badges fall right off, too. In absolute all honesty, their favorite part of the toy is the walk-in-talkie!! They absolutely LOVE the walkie-talkie and play with it in many different ways and scenarios. It runs on batteries and makes a siren noise, and the rest of their play is their imagination. Hope this helps. 😁

What is the size of this jacket? Would it fit 3T and bigger?

The jacket would .fit a child 3t thru 5 t perfectly the helmet is a little small but the jacket is.fine
