The kids have loved this game--our 6 year-old pits himself against our 2 1/2 year-old twins, and they have gotten the biggest kick out of it. It's a colorful variation on a simple matching card game, but the idea of "ninja squirrels" so delights them, it's definitely been fun-in-a-box for the last couple weeks. The nut pieces are small enough that I haven't wanted to let the little ones play with it unsupervised, and grown-ups and older kids will get most of their fun with it out of watching the kids, but we're overall very pleased. Ninja squirrels rock! I would buy it again.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my son last year when he was 6 years old. We enjoy playing this game. It's easy to setup and the rules are simple. It's a game we can play a few times in one setting since it doesn't go on and on. It's just my son and I who play together, but I could see this game as being a good choice if you have multiple children and are looking for a fun game that all your children will enjoy and will be able to include a younger child in. I would say age 4 and up would enjoy this.

My 7 year old son and his buddy love this game. My son was skeptical at first and showed no interest in playing but when I finally convinced him to try it, he really had fun and now loves to play it! It’s a fun family game. The cards are very thick and of good quality and the game pieces are very well made. Very easy to assemble. It’s nice to see a good quality game out there that’s a lot of fun. If you like slapjack, this is a great game choice.

Bought this game for my kids (14, 12, and 11) based on a recommendation from a friend. The game is simple, relying on pattern matching and quick reflexes. But the kids loved it, especially trying to snatch the acorns before their siblings. As soon as we finished the first game, they were asking to play it again. We ended up playing 4 rounds before I had to make them quit. The next time I suggested a family game, this is the one they wanted to play.

We got this for my kids for Christmas, and it turned out terribly. Matching colors is a bit remedial for my 8-year-old, and for my 4 1/2-year-old as well. There's not really any strategy involved--it's just a matter of being the first to grab a nut which definitely doesn't work well with the younger players.... My kids usually get along great and play competitive games quite well together, but they were fighting and in tears in seconds. There's really nothing else to it...Match a color and fight to get the nut first. We put it away after just a few minutes, and it's in the donation pile now. That said, the customer service is great. I sent an email to the seller to see if there was any way to open a game and although there isn't, he offered to send another game for free. His response was timely, kind, and professional.

My 8 year old & 6 year old loved this game...its so easy to set up and learn how to play. We play a lot of games as a family and loved the face pace and friendly competition of this game! Our 6 year old loved that it was easy enough for her-simple matching.The anticipation of each card being flipped kept everyone paying attention and ready to see a match and grab the acorn!

A good game for my 6 and 8 year old kids. Not the most challenging or complicated, so I'd recommend this for kids up to age 6-7.
