Nothing hatched. 7 visible eggs only. No hatching in 48h. Getting a microscope soon to check if there's any eyes.

Killifish eggs came in a nice sturdy container with everything needed to get started (except the water ). Online instructions were easy to follow. I asked the seller a few questions about my order and they were very, very nice and answered all my questions quickly. I was a fun project to play with and I with purchase again in the future from this company!

Followed the instructions.. After 2 days when nothing hatched I put the peat moss back in container for 3 weeks, still 0 hatched. I ordered the Rachovii Killifish eggs last year and was able to hatch 20 fry. Don’t know what happened here but 0 fry/fish for $25 is tough to swallow.

My first order was excellent, tons of fish hatched and grew to adulthood. Second order, I haven’t hatched a single egg. I still have a small amount of eggs as I wanted to spred this batch out in case the hatch date was off. I tried some in Feb, some in march, now the last few I’m going to try and hatch tonight. I would still recommend people take a chance, if you get a good batch of eggs it’s a great deal.

Was excited about hatching these, all looked in good order checked out the peat moss. Couldn’t really find many eggs. Hatch date saw a couple sets of eyes put in tank water. Waited few hours, then diligently searched for an hour and found 2 babies. I’ll try again in a couple days but not worth it for those results. Had hatched these in the past from another brand and saw more eggs and had a much larger batch rate

The killifish eggs arrived in healthy condition. A few days before the estimated hatching time, I prepared the included fairy shrimp by hatching them first. Then, I added the eggs and dirt mixture to the container. To my surprise, the killifish fry hatched rapidly, within just an hour.I noticed many negative reviews were from people who couldn't hatch the eggs successfully. In my opinion, this is likely due to improper technique. Hatching and raising these fish isn't a simple task suitable for most children. It requires research and careful attention to detail, which is why I'd recommend this project for teenagers 14 and older who are willing to do their homework on killifish care. This consideration is why I didn't give the product a full 5-star rating.For those attempting to hatch killifish, here are some helpful tips:Start by hatching the fairy shrimp in mineralized water.Keep the water depth at 1-2 inches maximum.Maintain these water parameters:GH (General Hardness): 4-8 dGHKH (Carbonate Hardness): 1-5 dKHTemperature: 72-79°F (22-26°C)Ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate: 0 ppmAdd the eggs and dirt mix after preparing the water. The fry should hatch soon, depending on how close you are to the written hatching date. Keep the fry in this shallow container for a few days until they're large enough to eat small fish pellets. Perform daily water changes to prevent ammonia buildup, which can be fatal to the fry. Ensure they have a constant supply of live fairy shrimp to eat while growing.Once the fry are big enough to consume small fish pellets, you can transfer them to a larger grow-out tank for continued development. Dropped them in water that morning. Had a tray full of fish that afternoon. Roughly around 35 babies in total.Only negative the fairy shrimp eggs that came with the kit never hatched. Thank goodness I have a endless supply of baby brine shrimp available

The order came with only 4 eggs. I was so excited to wait for 1 month for the order to come and expecting a lot of fish fries as it described on the website. However, only 4 EGGS. They all hatched successfully.
