Academy PlasticsM1151 Enhanced Armament Carrier With tools

As usual with Academy, very detailed model in 1/35 scale. Don’t expect a big “truck”, its not a Tank.

Great little gem of a kit. Surprisingly no knockout pin marks in awkward places for an Academy kit, which you usually find. The .50 cal is one of the best multi part assemblies I’ve seen in 1/35 plastic. The tires could be better, but Def models makes sets for these.

Quite a challenge but with some care and time it came together nicely. Incredible interior detail so I left the roof section unglued so I can remove it to show off! Plenty of options for leaving the hatch, doors, and rear section open or closed. One suggestion, take an exceptionally long time to assemble the undercarriage, its very intricate but if you get it right it really enhances the model.I opted to add aftermarket figures and gear to the model but have left part of it unfinished for use in a future diorama. Excellent detail, accuracy, and quality.

I have had good and bad luck with academy kits. There older kits sometimes had fitting and flash issues. Now for this kit the m1151, it has great detail, no major fitting issues and it is fairly accurate. It has some nice photoetched parts and 3 figures that came with it which is odd for academy. The figures have great detail and fit together well. Watch it while building there are many really small parts and pay attention to the directions there are some details if missed will cause an issue with completing the model. I do not like the 2 piece tires, but will say they fit together well and you really don't see the seam. The direction can be somewhat vague at times, but all in all it is a good kit and if priced right is worth buying and building

This kit is a very detailed model. I had read a number of reviews that there were too many small parts and it was difficult to put together. I disagree, the kit is very easy to assemble for any experienced model builder. Academy models tend to be little on the softer plastic side of things but a great kit. Glass was very clear. I would recommend this kit.

Great amount of detail! Parts fit together well with little sanding or trimming. Some directions could have shown more detail...I put a few parts on the wrong way and had to redo them. But overall a great model.

It’s a 1/35 scale model. Extremely detailed and fun to put together. Remember to utilize tweezers to place the small details down! Great quality plastic, really easy to paint on. Be careful with the smaller areas like the rear view mirrors. Requires some prior experience but overall an easy kit to Build. Excellent model overall and extremely detailed.
