My Family and Other Animals (Penguin Essentials) by Durrell, Gerald (April 7, 2011) Mass Market Paperback

I loved this book when I first read it for school exams and still love it. I can read it over and over again and still never tire of it. It's also a book I can dip in and out of easily if I don't want to go cover to cover. Suits any age group and my 3 sons have all read and loved it too. Brilliant book in all.

I bought this after owning a different tape version and it is excellent.

Warm and very funny... a great birthday gift to country living God-daughter who had never read it! Excellent after all these years... and liked the "feel" of this earlier (1978!) print and format!

This has to be the best an funniest book I have ever read.

Started reading this book whilst at my friends home in Los Angeles, I can't believe I now have my own original copy from back in the 80's. The quality is first class, thank you so much.

History, perfect!

I was delighted this book arrived faster than expected, bought as a gift for a friend to take on her Corfu holiday.This remains one of my favourite books.

The cassette did not work when it arrived, while it was new and expected wear and tear was disappointed that it didn't play. It was a Christmas present for my son, so we had had it for sometime before we realized that the tape had been over stretched.
