Adaptor can work with some modification. First it is hard to find E14 to E12 adaptors outside of Europe for American bulbs. So props to them for selling it at a good price. But the bulb couldn't make contact inside of the adaptor; therefore, I used wire cutters to cut off the black rubber with metal lining off, so the bulb could screw down far enough for it to fully make contact and light up. You can get them to work, with effort and modification.
