Fun Game!
All 7 of us really enjoy this game. Fairly high replayability, and while there are some mean options, we mostly ignore those.

Great game but came banged up
Love the game but box came banged up cause it was shipped in those flimsy envelope packings instead of a box. At least put some padding in, amazon

My new favorite board game
I generally have low expectations for board games since they can be quite subjective, and positive reviews don't always guarantee compatibility. I played Machi Koro 2 yesterday, and initially, learning the game proved a bit hard at first. However, we watched an explanation on YouTube that really helped. Once you grasp the rules and things get going, it becomes incredibly enjoyable and competitive. Each game feels unique, offering numerous strategies for victory. As a devoted fan of Monopoly Deal and Catan, Machi Koro 2 has quickly become my favorite game—this verdict came after just one night of playing. I particularly appreciate the realistic feel of the coins. My friends and I are now completely hooked on this game!

Super fun once you understand the rules.
I got Machi Koro 2, for my husband’s birthday. He loves all types of board games and really enjoys the family time.He also loves games which require a little more thinking by the players and involves creating complex strategies, which I later discovered while playing this for the first time ever. My husband owns the first version of this game already, and that in itself means he had an advantage in understanding the basic rules. At first, I was overwhelmed, trying to memorize gameplay. Luckily, it does come with quick-reference cards which I quickly became grateful for, especially since the game involves a combination of dice, cards, and money.Essentially, each player buys properties using money they earn from the bank or other players. At first, each player is broke. This limits the properties (cards) they can purchase. But, each time you roll the dice, there is an opportunity to earn more money, and gradually you can “buy” better properties. The first player to own three landmark properties wins the game.Even though I did lose the first few times, I got better with each game and genuinely enjoyed it. Each game can last about 20 minutes when there are only two players. The longest was 40 minutes. The more players you add, the longer the gameplay, but it also gets more competitive too, making it a hit for a small gathering.
