better have the right tool and patience
this may have nothing to do with the part, but the tool to engage it slips or won’t seat.

They sell defective parts.
I ordered this because dealer was out of stock. I installed the part and still had the same issue. P0011 code. For a whole week i was chasing the issue, then, a friend of mine suggested using an OEM part, which i did and viola, problem solved. This could have very easily resulted in me doing my timing chain thinking that i have bigger issues. Save yourself headaches and get OEM parts.

Longevity is an issue
This is great for testing to see if this is the part you need. If it is, do yourself a favor and get the Audi/VW version. This one only lasted 1 year and 2,200 miles. It did work, but not for very long.

Buy OEM - faulted out with 500 miles
You get what you pay for. This faulted out and stopped operating properly within 500 miles. Installed a new OEM part 1000 miles ago, should have done that in the first place.
