This is a good pan. Easy to cook with and easy to wash up without worrying about stripping off nonstick coatings.It is however enormous. When we have it on the hob we can’t use the ring next to it as it takes up too much space. We use the ring diagonally across instead. This does not sit well with me as I have two small careless and curious boys and I don’t like anything hot at the front.It is also so big that it won’t sit within our sink to be washed. We balance it across the sink instead and wash it separately to the rest.We do still like the pan though. It feels sturdy and is easy to make all sorts of food in swiftly.

Had this for a few years, along with a fair few other Scanpan items, and they're all brilliant! Honestly worth the investment, some of my pans are around 8/9 years old and are just as good as the day we bought them. Simply brilliant!

Wanted a decent Scanpan for a while and this suited our needs exactly. Got it on sale from Amazon Warehouse.However, when I received it, I immediately tested the flatness of the base by pour some oil in the pan. The oil immediately flowed outwards from the centre, leaving the centre of the pan dry.The base is convex, so I immediately returned it. Very disappointing, as I've heard great things about this brand.

I have owned a Tefal 30 cm pan similar to this one for around 15 years. When that pan finally met its maker and became a health hazard due to the Teflon coating cooking in to the chilli, I began to look for an alternative.I bought this pan 2 months ago - I can say, hand on heart, that this is far far superior to the previous pan. Its not Teflon-coated which is not a problem at all. Food cooks wonderfully - I use it at least 3 or 4 times a week, and have roasted joints in it, made bolognese sauces, used it for sauteing, poached fish, made paella, risotto and roast vegetables - this pan does it all. It is worth every penny I paid for it and I commend it to your house.

Fantastic bit of kit. You can cook a breakfast through to cooking your roast in it. I found if after washing you need to oil the pan and look after it. I use mine all the time.
