So far this battery is doing the job. Does take about 2 hours to charge back up. So I have purchased 2 more in order to get my yard all mowed without waiting around.

Leary of Refurbished, but appears to be just fine. Charged just fine,….. time will tell!

I was a bit hesitant about purchasing a reconditioned battery but the price savings was a real attraction. I have now used this battery for several hours of heavy cutting and it has performed as well as my original battery. My advice: don't hesitate to buy the reconditioned version.

I didn't want a refurbished battery,but now that I have used it many times and it seems to be okay

These batteries are notorious for their short useful life, so (like other reviewers) I was reluctant to buy a refurbished one, but so far it's working fine.

What i expected

my 1 year old ion18sb has been used 3 times. the battery it came with wouldn't hold a charge more than 20 minutes. well, after 1 year there's no warranty. so, i buy another a few weeks ago & it hardly holds a charge 20 mins either. if that wasn't bad enough, the ion18sb battery snow joe thats been used 3 times in 14 months busted the directional chute last night. these plastic parts can not hold up to extreme northern midwest temperatures apparently & this is obvious when one attempts to purchase any replacement parts. why? because they're such crap Snow Joe is OUT OF STOCK WITH NO STOCK REPLACEMENT AVAILABLE. what a bloody piece of crap. buy a real metal snow blower and save yourself the aggravation. i am sick to death of throwing my $ away on shoddy cheap crap with no support or available replacement parts. once again some big company with $ to throw at big time advertising has made millions and sells junk they won't/can't support and by time you figure it out, you're just screwed.
