Does the mount power the camera too or do I need a separate power source for the camera?

You need a power adapter for the Ring Indoor Pan-Tilt Mount which is not included. The one Ring sells is $39 on Amazon. I bought a compatible one which works perfectly fine for indoor use and its currently sold for under $17 on Amazon. Why is the price just for the mount $29.11 but if you tap on just the mount the price doubles to $44.99 I have the power cords just want mounts

Can this be used with solar panel ?

No, the Ring Pan-Tilt Mount can only be powered with the Indoor/Outdoor or Indoor Power Adapter Barrel Plug and cannot be powered with the Quick Release Battery Pack or Solar Panel. For the Stick Up Cam Battery (3rd Gen) or Solar (3rd Gen), select a bundle with either an Indoor/Outdoor Power Adapter or Indoor Power Adapter. The Stick Up Cam Plug-In bundle already includes the Indoor/Outdoor Power Adapter.
