Lives up to its advertising. Thank you, Bruce Pender!
Recently, I saved a 14-year-old Lawn-Boy lawn mower from the landfill. I cleaned out the carburetor, put it back together, and it started and ran, and I thought that would be the end of the story. One week later, I started it up and it ran really rough--sputter, sputter, _rev_, sputter, sputter, _rev_--and it seemed like it was hardly getting any gas, even though I had plenty in the fuel tank.Clogged fuel line? Nope. It turns out that it was thirsty for clean gas.I drained out the gas from the fuel tank and gave the carburetor another cleaning, and right after putting the mower back together, I realized, hey, I've got this fuel filter funnel thing I bought almost a year ago with this exact situation in mind. I put the filter in the fuel tank and poured in the gas, and to my surprise, it filtered out a mix of water and impurities that had to have been one millimeter deep. I started the mower up (after putting the gas cap back on, of course), and wouldn't you know it, it started right up on the first pull with no sputtering. This filter has paid for itself in just one use. Finally, you may be wondering who Bruce Pender is and why I thank him. He spends his golden years fixing small engines, and he posts videos of his repair jobs on YouTube (Bruce's Shop). In one of his videos, he used--and recommended--the FloTool Fuel Filter, and I knew I could use a product like that because I had come across another mower with bad gas a few years previously. (Disclaimer: FloTool did not sponsor the video in question, and I am giving them this stellar review with no payment whatsoever.)

Great idea, well executed
Really works! Seems I always have "iffy" fuel on the farm. So hard to get rid of, and a shame to waste, but running crappy fuel is asking for trouble. Sometimes I have small engines that have sat a bit too long. Tip them over, filter the fuel, and top them up. No muss, no fuss. Amazing to let old fuel settle out in a clear soda bottle and run it through the filter. Effective. Works super on diesel, too.

Slow Pouring
Pros-Works great.. Cons-it's Slow pouring tends to want to overspill if you pour to fast,My advice if you can make a Bigger one so it will pour faster when refilling 120 gallon's at a time Your little Cup want work unless you have nothing but free time.

Good filter
Works great for small equipment. The only negative is that it does not drain completely, so I have to pour the remaining fuel back in the can.

It didn’t really work, but…
My husband has reported that this did not work for the job, BUT he concedes that there was a TON of water to filter out. Definitely more water than usual and he wasn’t certain it was even worth trying. So to be fair, this tool probably works great, but we had a bigger job for it to do than most people need it for. I hope that makes sense. We still have it and if we use it again, I will try and report back!

Wow! I was impressed
I had gasoline contaminated with water and some debris. The first photo is contaminated gas and the second is after passing through filter. The debris settled in sump area with water. I immediately put some in lawnmower and it fired right up. It saved 15 gallons of gas and the filter is reusable so a definite bargain as well as an effective product
