Tough, Reliable, and a Must-Have for Home Projects and Electrical Work
This Milwaukee Fastback knife has become one of the most-used tools in my kit. I’ve used it for everything from basic carpentry work around the house to rewiring my headlights and tail lights, and it hasn’t let me down once. The build quality is solid—it feels durable in the hand without being bulky, and the one-handed flip-open design is surprisingly handy when you’re working in tight spaces or up on a ladder. The blade stays secure during use, and swapping it out is super easy, which is important when you’re jumping between cutting insulation, wire jackets, or drywall. The onboard storage for extra blades is also a game changer—no more stopping mid-job to go hunt for a new blade. For anyone doing home maintenance, light electrical work, or even car wiring like I’ve done, this knife is an excellent buy. It’s tough enough for serious work but compact and quick enough to make everyday jobs smoother. Highly recommend.Pros:• One-handed flip design makes it super quick and convenient to open.• Solid build quality—feels durable and reliable for tough jobs.• Onboard blade storage for quick swaps on the go.• Slim and compact—easy to carry in a pocket or toolbelt.• Secure blade lock—no wobble or slipping during use.Cons:• Doesn’t come with extra blades (if you didn’t receive spares).• Slight learning curve for the one-hand open at first.

Best Utility Knife - Best Amazon Package Knife Opener
Tired of looking for scissors or using your kitchen knives to open your Amazon Packages?I've had this knife for about 6 years now and it's my favorite knife to use so far. If you're looking for a high-quality, sturdy knife this is for you. Milwaukee is on the high tier list for construction tools and this knife is part of that pool. Comes with storage for 3 extra blades (not included).I think my favorite part of the blade is that the full metal body - you just engage the metal button slightly flick your wrist and the blade is ready to go and it works everytime. There's no plastic slider that'll wear your thumbs, or any parts you think will wear out. It's solid. The blades are so easy to replace and make it so easy to just remove and use the other side of the blade for. And retracting the blade is as easy as opening the blade, no need to use two hands and try to hit a button to disengage the lock on the blade, which I hated with other EDC knives, although they look better, it's not as functional.ALSO, if you're just cutting up cord or wire / tape, there's a safe exposed portion of the body where you can just run the metal case and cut without having to open the knife which is super handy as well.I carry this on the construction jobsite as well as their magnetic tape measurer all day and it's so handy. The pocket / belt clip never snags and isn't too tight and hasn't worn out or bent - I've had to tighten it with a phillips head every so often but it's also nice that you can bend the metal to increase or decrease the tension if your belt is too thick or whatever you're securing it to.Highly recommended for opening up boxes, cutting wraps, cords, wires, working on construction site, working at the back of retail stores, etc. Just buy this knife.

Not the pictured item
I wanted this particular knife in the picture because of the larger belt clip and angle but I was unaware it had been discontinued and seller didn’t update the pic. I ended up with the straighter handled one that holds 5 spare blades instead. I’m extremely happy with it and love how it holds 5 spare blades in the handle using a magnet to hold them all in place so when you’re down to 1 spare blade it’s not flopping around loosely in its holder , it’s held snug in place. It’s a very well built knife. I did order 2 actually and the only minor issue I noticed on them is inside the wire stripping groove and the hole for the lanyard the paint or powder coating is a little light letting you see the bare metal a little but it’s tolerable. I just always expect extreme perfection from Milwaukee and surprised quality control would let them pass like that. Maybe I’m just to picky lol.

Very nice nice for those with full hands.
I am the type of person who is always in a rush to get something done. In doing so I usually have my hands full while trying to do something. Who has time to go to their workbench or set up sawhorses or remove something to work on it? Because of this I usually find myself with only one free hand to cut something lose or strip a wire or cut some type of binding. This knife is perfect for that. The side clip is large and very easy to pull off your belt or side of your pocket and very easy to put back on.The best part is the opening mechanism. With cheap old utility knives, after a while, they are hard to open with one hand. The slides doesn't slide very well. With flip up utility knives they can be a pain to open as well. This is probably a good thing so they don't flop open when you don't want them to or are unaware. This knife has a button on the side that when pressed allowed the knife to open without resistance. When the button is not pressed the knife is locked in place. This button is not too hard to press but not so loose that I would every worry about it. I can easily find the knife on the side of my pocket, pull it off, push the release with my thumb and with a flick of the wrist it is open. I can proceed to make my cut, press the button again and flick it closed. Amazing. Also, the rope cutting slot works like a charm. This knife utilizes the main blade, when folded, as its slot cutter. This way, if it ever dulls you just have to replace your main blade and you are like new. Some other knives have a fixed slot blade that will dull and can be replaced with some odd blade or cannot be replaced at all. This knife is much easier to use and replace. Would recommend this blade to anyone.
