I have ordered these lighters at least 3 times. The first order, lighters were as pictured and worked fine. Second order, lighters were the same as first with the exception of a hinged flip cap instead of chain and they worked fine. This last order, lighters were larger, different make, and total junk. I ordered total of 15 lighters and have tried probably half of them and none of them work properly, if at all. Some won’t light. When they do light, the flame continues 3-10 seconds after you realease the gas/ignitor button. Most when they do light, the flame last a few seconds then goes out even though gas is still being released from lighter. I do not expect perfection from inexpensive lighters and I’m ok if 10-20% are defective. The problem is, this last batch of lighters are total junk.

These are great torches but of the four I received two would light but wouldn’t stay lit. Got to where they wouldn’t light at all sometimes especially when they were cold. Took one apart and turned up the fuel going to the burner and solved the problem immediately. Please turn up the fuel on these torches when assembling! I know there’s safety to worry about but no one will buy these great little torches when you can’t get them to light or they go out immediately after ignition. I’ve owned several of these and love them but not everyone is willing to take the time to disassemble and repair something they just bought most people will either return or just never buy that brand again and tell other potential buyers not to buy when all they need is the fuel turned up to work great everytime. Just my opinion but there’s videos on YouTube showing how to do this so it’s not like it’s an isolated incident. Just my opinion but I’m not the only one who thinks this. Four stars because after repairing they haven’t let me down but it could’ve been five stars and I should’ve given three because who wants to work on something they just bought?

When I first received these lighters I was excited and at first they worked great I got a red a blue and 2 black lighters I ordered the 4 pack of 4oz lighters vs the 5 pack of small and after a few days I noticed the red lighter was only lighting ever other click no biggie I had 3 more..... they all did the same thing...... a few more days went by and the red and blue had broken. At this point I was bummed but figured they were not super expensive so it is what it is. But then the next day the first black one broke. And as theses lighters would break I'd pull them apart and to my disappointment I found that 3 of the 4 so far had bad or faulty igniter and would not click to produce spark I have only 1 lighter left and I feel as though it may break as quick but I guess only time will tell I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND at all 3 lighters should not die/stop working faster than a cheap dollar store one.

Don't let that customer's video effect your judgement. He mentions in the beginning he bought it from a gas station. Hundreds of people are trying them out every day and the people that work there use them to light their cigarettes outside. I buy these directly from Amazon. I buy a 5 pack every month or 10 pack ever 2 months. They work perfectly. The only small complaint I have, but to me it's not a big deal for such a great price is that when I refill them the torch is never as strong as before, but for the price there is no reason to reuse. If you want a good refillable torch lighter you buy a single lighter for 50-100 bucks or more and then you will get no complaints. Before complaining, first, buy directly from amazon and always compare price to product. These right now are about 9 bucks for 5 or 16 bucks for 10. Well worth it even for non-refillable. These are great lighters and i highly recommend them. I'm sure the guy in the video got ripped off at the gas station but just ask for matches at a gas station or buy a cheap bic. Buy these from Amazon, then when you see that they are good lighters take down your video because it doesn't tell the truth.

Same lighters they sell in smoke shops or convenience store. From the picture, I expected lower build quality, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw that it was the same as what I had. The last one lasted for years with constant use, so I'm hoping these hold up as well and I never have to buy a lighter again. Showed up faster than expected, an added bonus. Highly recommended.

These things are really good at what they do. I found a similar one laying by the road and used it to melt the end of a freshly cut rope. Worked wonders and better than a bigger torch with a larger flame. It's sharp flame tip let you select the edge of the rope and move the melting around the circumference. I also use these to "cut" plastic landscaping material and plastic tarps. It leaves a finished edge and prevents the unraveling. Of the 5, only 4 worked. Also, the tips get very hot and you'll quickly learn to manage that problem. Well, there's nothing really wrong with the lighters, they actually work quite well. Now, a couple of things... The chain will break fairly easily. I actually replaced the chain with small paracord that you can find at the craft store. Also, as you can see, the lighters are not the exact ones as shown in the picture, they are shorter and not semi transparent as the ones shown. They also were not one in every color as the item description says. I received two blue, two black and one green. Like I said though, the lighters themselves don't seem bad but they're not exactly what is shown either.

I use these to fuze paracord for making bracelets. These work perfect, all five. They are very hot and can be aimed with tight accuracy. They are all filled with butane and have a nozzle in it for easy refill. Did not go wrong with this purchase.30 Sep 2016Just received another shipment of 15 lighters. Everyone works great and full of butane. Shipped and received very quick. I will order again.These are easily refillable which I have done several times because they are heavly used many times a day for fusing materials. Have not had any problems whatsoever. They work very well.
