I cannot comment on durability as I have only had it up and running a couple of months. It is on 24/7 and so far has yet to miss a beat. It has gone through two outages and a couple of serious "dips" in power and did not fail nor seem to even notice! It runs surprisingly cool for a power supply that has no fan. I guess one is not required. I have 8 cameras's running off of it so I only use one "bank" on connections the other 8 are turned off for now. As I add additional cameras I will utilize the full potential of the unit. It has a small footprint and is silent. Lots of knock outs so I did open up several of them to let the unit have more air and as I have said, it runs cool. Connections are easy although I have large fingers and often find working in small spaces difficult. I pre "tin" connections and this makes it easier to insert pos and neg wires in the proper places. So, bottom lone, it's a nice unit and 12 amps at that price is pretty good. I hope it runs many years, but if not I will let everyone know.

After my old distributed power supplied died, I tried to find parts to repair it. Due to it's age, it was obsolete and parts were no longer available. I did some searching and found the Installer CCTV unit and the price was very reasonable. After placing my order, the unit arrived within a few days and I installed it. It worked great and as a result I was able to get our security system back online very quickly. I would definitely order this distributed power supply again.

I purchased this to automate holiday inflatable decorations. This product met the specifications and allowed me to connect up to 18 12V holiday decorations. Adding an AC WIFI outlet I can set schedules to turn on and off the decorations and manage the schedule through my phone. Big time saver and easy to adapt it for my needs.

So had this installed with 6 cameras needing no more than 1/2 amp each. Have had issues with other applications such as noise and imaging with the cameras and knew it was the voltage drops. I installed this power source and fixed the issue. Planning to install 4 more cameras and have confidence in this power source. This is a fanless power source and also heat distribution isn’t noticeable.
