Works well
Been using this for over a year and it holds up well. Nice metal heavy duty frame no plastic pieces any where. It had only overheated once but I was pressing several things on multiple places at high heat . . I do think that the heat temp is not as accurate as it used to be and . But it is better Than my Circuit press hand held press by far . You maybe have to wait a minute or 2 between. Presses. I don’t do many batch presses . It does do well on satin and delicate appliqué. Haven’t seen it smoke or smell bad. Pretty good value for money

It was a good purchase for me when I was looking for a heat press.
I purchased this heat press in November 2023. Have been really satisfied with my purchase. It did have an odor at first but the odor has subsided.

Bought Feb 2023 dies Oct 2023- Customer support is nonexistent
We use this machine to iron leather flat, we had purchased a smaller press from the same brand that lasted about 4 years. After trying 3 other brands that lasted from 6 months to about 2 years we went back to Fancierstudios since they had the best track record. This machine had the least longevity of anything we tried. I contacted the company via Facebook as the manual suggests and got zero response. We've learned our lesson, unless you're doing extremely light use, skip any of these cheap presses...I wish we learned the lesson before buying 4 of them.We just spent $1500 on at Hix press that's made in the USA has replaceable parts and a great warranty. Reddit has a great sub for sublimation press info and there are a lot of machines that will be running 10+ years from now.

Reliable
I decided to upgrade to a larger press and went with the 16x20 press. I stuck with the same brand as my previous Fancier Studio 15x15 press because it was a reliable, quality press. I've owned the older one for 9 years, and in all that time I only had to replace the control board, which was ridiculously inexpensive, and the customer service was excellent, and super fast.My new press is almost the same control board except it is located on the front panel, rather than the top. The up and down arrows that control the temp, react to a softer touch. The timer beep is much quieter as well as an intermittent sound instead of the previous long, loud beep. This machine is built sturdy, and is so easy to use.My only question right now is whether the pressure will adjust to be able to provide light pressure on certain sublimated items. Thus the 4 stars, rather than 5. Right now I have the pressure adjusted as low as it can possibly go and with a pressing pillow, it's a tight fit. I'll have to update if the pressure becomes a problem.

At first, I almost sent it back!
This heat press is a dream come true. For the price, I couldn’t ask for anything better! It worked the minutes I used it but the next day the nob to change the pressure wouldnt turn so I could adjust it. I calle customer service and they instructed me to put WD-40 on the nob so it would turn. When I did that it turned like a charm and I was able to press my shirts again. I almost thought I had to send it back and that angered me, but I’m happy customer service was able to help me. One word of advice get a heat gun it’ll tell you exactly how hot the press it. I’ve noticed it wamrs up 20 degrees MORE than what the machine say but that’s no biggie. Most heat presses do the same thing! Attached are pictures of shirts I’ve pressed for my company @dearfathermedia my merchandise is trademarked by the way lol!
