This box is exactly what I need. I need lower-security storage that is lightweight and that can be easily hidden. This box is the perfect size, the combination lock works smoothly, and the appearance is a feasible deterrence from afar, or to the untrained eye. The book cover is black and has the texture of a hardcover book. I keep mine in a box of books on the top shelf. The storage box feels sturdy and well-made. I feel it provides the kind of security that would pair equally with a 3-digit combination. The outer cover does not feel the most durable. The cover is cardboard, and feels like a hardcover book. The 'pages' are molded, hard plastic. Up close, very obvious. The plastic feels weak. I wouldn't drop it. Overall, awesome value for the price. Easily stores my lightweight items that do not require high-security, fire, or water protection.

Wanna buy? Take a chance on a bent hardcover that doesn't shut fully when rested. Cover had grease in the front and when I lightly wiped it off with a dab of water, it smeared and ruined the material on the front, making the texture melted and darker. I’m serious, maybe the photo won’t show it in justice.

I bought this safe as I was heading to college, and it was a great investment for my few items such as passport, and other forms of identification or jewelry. Though I do not feel I need it as much now that I am accustomed, I do think it is a great thing to have just in case. It is made pretty durable, and no one I have known has yet to figure out it is a lock. It fits a good amount of items, overall good. Good buy

Product is well designed and built for many uses. Provides me with an excellent back-up house key in a secure and practical hiding place. Combination lock is easy to setup and change as needed.
