This is a great bike light for occasional use at dusk or at night. If you regularly bike in the darkness, I would recommend a stronger light. But the set is great value. I put this on my daughter's bike, in case she has to bike home in the dark.These lights are attached to the posts using rubber straps. This seem to be the standard for inexpensive bike lights.

I like the lights. They provide a good level of illumination and safety.The mounting brackets work well to keep them anchored in place. The rubber liners grip my steel bike tubes enough to keep them from turning or sagging over time. It wasn't hard to install. I like the quick release clips that allow you to remove the lights without removing the mounting brackets.The main light is not super bright and I wouldn't suggest it for night time trail riding or any kind of situation where you need a huge illuminated field of view. However for supplemental road riding not at fast speeds it works fine. It gives a good 20 ft spot in front.The tail light is plenty bright for its purposes.The only complaint I have about the lights is the button presses to use them. I really wish there was a separate switch for choosing which light pattern you want and a separate on/off switch. Having to scroll thru 3 different modes on the main light and 4 on the tail light every time you want to use it gets to be a real pain.I really wish some manufacturer would come up with a photocell / motion sensing light that would come on automatically. That would be the best. Well anyways this is a good quality set. I think they will last a long time provided the batteries don't leak acid and ruin them. 4 stars for quality.

I had purchased this product for a special Olympian for his bike,he loved it but after a rain storm his back light was not working upon further investigation I was fb ound that the seal that houses the battery compartment was fluad and allowed the water to enter it causing a short out of the lamp circuitry,it also emitted acidic liquids to form,

The simplicity of installing the front light/tail light system was great!

While the front light has it's problems (non-rechargeable, surprisingly dim), most of my problems are with the rear light. During installation, I noticed parts of the plastic mount were defective--the latch used to attach the light itself to the mount wasn't molded or cut properly--making it nigh impossible to mount without seriously bending the plastic. That itself was annoying, but the real problem with the build arose when I tried to detach the light from the mount. It was completely impossible to detach it completely from the mount without either cutting part of the mount, or (what I did) removing just the transparent red plastic along with the exposed battery.

all plastic construction; weak clamplight was quite narrow, would be ok for opposing traffic to see you but won't be good enough if u want to add visibility to your linewould be ok for a $10/pair definitely not worth the brand premium here.

Somewhere I read this set was more fit to let others see you, than to actually see the road yourself. Well, I disagree. The front light is bright enough for you to see the road ahead for a couple of meters, just far enough to ride safely. The backlight is also pretty bright, enough for any cars or other vehicles to see you with no problem.Really just the perfect basic light set at a very cheap price.

Muy buena y práctica ambas luces, fácil de instalar y manejar con diferentes cambios, por precio y calidad las recomiendo, además vienen con sus pilas, Si fueran recargables les daría las 5 estrellas. Saludos

Es mucho más de lo que esperaba, pensé que no iba a alumbrar tanto, pero si alumbra muy bien, solo o me gustó la parte de atrás que no es fácil de poner y quitar, al parecer se tiene que quitar como si fueras a cambiarle la pila, no es como el de enfrente.
