It SOLVED my laptop transfer problems
My files transfer from my old to my new laptop kept "hanging up" while using my WiFi despite having 1gig internet. After several frustrating attempts, I decided to take a chance with this cable. Well, it made is SO MUCH EASIER AND FASTER to finish the transfer. No hangups or delays. The transfer completed in a matter of 3 hours instead of several days. I am definitely holding onto this cable for future use!

Expensive and Require Intermediate Knowledge on PC
The instructions are confusing and can lead to confusion. I took the advanced transfer and I picked to choose what I need. It had some applications that it can transfer and some likely and some can't. Even with the application, it transfers someone would need to reactivate their product. This disclaimer is also there but this is not convenient at all. Full image transfer can help someone to avoid that meaning doing a clone. The clone option will require OS transfer. The software does not do that. In short, this is not a useful way to transfer anything except your file, which some can do in many different ways. I have wasted my money on this product.I received the product on time and it was ok. However one last thing. For Laplink to sell a transfer cable with a chip that identified their product on both ends is a very bad business practice. One should be able to do that with any USB 3 cords but Laplink did not allow that. I purchased the software and it comes with a key. If I manage to have that keys on two devices that should have been the process. To sell a transfer cable and charge a huge amount for it is a bad business practice.I won't recommend this product to anyone. Sorry!
