I wish I had bought another brand this one does not stop him from barking in my car when he sees dogs outside the car we hear it beep and he goes ahead and barks anyway.I placed the tongs on his throat and he will not allow me to shave his neck.I actually have given up on it for now .

Not sure if my Border Collie loves it but it helped with her barking (very loud and only when outside). Took about 30 seconds for her to figure it out and decide that barking wasn't as much fun as it used to be. I tested it on my arm and hand and I can hardly feel it at the default setting. Now she just "talks" at a low volume that doesn't set off the collar (which is quite entertaining). Seems that Border Collies like to talk...

CAUTION....this collar malfunctioned and almost KILLED my dog. It somehow continually shocked our beloved Hank overnight and he woke up in horrible pain with a huge burn through his neck. Fortunately we were able to get him medical attention but this business can not be trusted!!! Please spend the extra 10 bucks and get a better product. Trust me on this one.

Worked for a couple months but quit even with new battery 😩

Great product for the price! We have a 2-year-old loving & wonderful (but stubborn) yellow lab/border collie mix (house-dog) who is a #1 barking offender each time he is let outside.This item begin working on the first day.He let out maybe 3-4 barks the first time he wore it and now it has tapered to 1 bark when he wants to come in.We really had no choice as he was becoming a nuisance to our new neighbors in the neighborhood we just moved into last fall. Our homes are all close together. It was just as annoying for us to hear the persistent loud barking each time he was let outside during the day and evening. Plus when we would attempt to make him be quiet he would become stubborn and refuse to come in whatsoever. And he's a big dog.I feel after maybe a month of using this, we will not need to use it at all. It's like he already knows when we put it on him what it is and from my past experience dogs learn very quickly. (Or we will eventually be able to use it without the batteries I am guessing...)It's good for the price. I gave four stars because a few of the batteries I received with it were dead. Also, I'm not sure how I will be able to tell if the batteries in the unit are dying/how to be prepared with new batteries if needed. Materials are not real substantial but for the price I cannot complain. It's definitely working.Thanks for reading!

Too sensitive, ended up shocking my dog on highest setting very quickly as his normal growl or general talking set it off and it just kept getting vibrations so keeps increasing in intensity even when he wasn't barking. Better to get one with a remote control where you can control setting and timing. That worked best for us.

Initially set it a little high. Turned down to very low setting and my dog responded to warning tone. This collar has made a huge difference. I only use it for brief periods at a time.

Cheap product. Too sensitive even in the high sensitivity setting. It goes off when my dog is just running around the yard, now she's afraid to move.
