AlessiArborio Rice with Saffron Milanese Style 8 oz

Following the instructions to a T makes such a perfect rice that I find it even more convenient than lugging out the rice cooker. Wait for the water to boil, add the rice and butter, boil for a minute, then reduce the heat to lowest simmer and cover. Put the timer on and wait for it to complete. Perfect every time, and the creamy yet firm consistency is wonderful. I buy via Amazon Fresh and my cost is under $3 a package. The only negative is inclusion of monosodium glutamate in ingredients, so if you're sensitive to that, you'll want to avoid.

Incorrect listing and fraud. Careful this is only one package not six like it implies in other reviews. The listing does not say it is only one and if you have purchased this before amazons algorithm will show you this to buy again and an awful price of 18$ a package. Amazon customer service will not be helpful either which is very strange and uncommon.

I agree with the other reviewer. This is for one package, not a box of six. I had bought the box of six before and this was the listing for the reorder. I'm very disappointed. It's not eligible for return. Shame on Amazon.

This was my first time making risotto in all honesty. I followed the instructions on the back to a tee. It turned out better than I expected, slightly al dente, creamy. The saffron flavoring is not overwhelming, I would of liked more but it wasn't bland either. A good amount in the bag as a side dish or a full meal for 1 person, with a small portion leftover. For $4 you can't go wrong. Can't wait until it's back in stock.

Please re-stock!Haven't really tried other kinds, but I don't need to. This stuff is amazing. Easy to make and one of our favourite side dishes.

I can recommend this rice to anyone. As far as I am concerned it's the best. I used to make my own "risotto milanese", but this one is so good I don't bother to do it any more.
