Lava beads stuck at bottom so far. It looks like a static charge?? Emailed customer support and did not hear back in 8 hrs. as stated. 4 days later and still no word from customer support, will be returning if no word today. 5/24/23 As a last resort I added a couple drops of dishwashing liquid and IT WORKS. No instructions or customer support.

As much as I would give it 5 stars, it didn’t come with a remote, but that’s ok because it’s still really cool!

I bought this for my elementary classroom. The students of all ages love it! The younger ones think they are real jellyfish. I tell them they are plastic toys that float in water. This is especially great when a student is having a tough time emotionally. The movement and color are calming. I recommend this for any classroom or office because it is like having a pet without the cost of food and upkeep! No noise either.

I purchased the volcano model and saw the high rating and was excited to plug this in. While it does plug it, it also requires batteries. Fine.However, the batteries do not last long and the unit will begin to dim in brightness quickly. The noise wasn't so much an issue for me but the 2Main problems I had were with the beads and sealing the unit.The beads would sort of sink to the bottom after water was poured in but after "erupting" aTime or two, they all began to float at the surface and wouldn't go down. They almost remind me of styrofoam pieces that just float on the water surface. I do wish they were more weighted or something.Secondly, the top to the unit isn't secured at all. I feel more of a snap or seal after putting a lid on a drink at fast food restaurant than this thing. The lid just sort of sits there. I thought it was better secured so when I picked the lamp up to move it, half the water poured out. I would hate forThis to be on a shelf that gets bumped and the thing spill out or whatever.After ordering I read the reviews and saw most were in reference to the jellyfish model and very few about the volcano one. I wished I had looked more carefully. I'm sure this looks neat on a desk somewhere and maybe it's just my model but I wouldn't recommend this one.

I thought this would be a great gift for the grandkids, but I thought it was so soothing and mesmerizing that I decided to keep it for myself. Our guests always ask about it. I would definitely buy another one!

Bought this for my son and we followed directions. After letting the distilled water sit for the recommended time, and we had the jelly fish soak in soap as directed, we set up where we wanted to see. The product works, but the jelly fish kept getting stuck to eachother and the smaller one would end up upside down. So after leaving it in for a few hours, we figured it would get better. Nope, little jelly fish still upside down and keeps getting tangled with the big one. It's a great idea, but the tank is too small. Worth looking at the bigger one...... if they can ship to your area. They could not ship the bigger one to me, so that is disappointing.

You would t believe the amount of people who ask me if these jellyfish are real. Everyone who walks in my office loves these and it’s by far the best $20 I’ve ever spent!
