MagLiteXL50 LED 3-Cell AAA Flashlight, Silver

Yet another excellent compact flashlight from the one and only Maglite - and FINALLY with a button switch rather than the twist!The tail-cap switch has a shorter throw than I expected, but it has a solid and tactile feel. It is also recessed enough that it's unlikely to be pressed while in a bag or pocket.Build is very solid, though there is a audible rattle from the LED section, which I've not experienced with any other Maglite product. It's also rather strange that although this is the brightest of all the compact Maglites, it has less modes than the others. Hopefully I don't need to signal SOS with this flashlight or I might get a rather tired thumb!Thankfully these shortfalls are made up for with the exceptional brightness of this light, beating out my larger 2D Cell Light at short distances!

I know it's a good torch.As it couldn't be posted to Ireland I got it sent to my sister in England.She then posted it to me in Ireland.That was weeks ago so I hope the person that robbed it will put up a good review!

Great torch. Very impressive as an upgrade to older maglites, but there are better options (eg led lenser police tt)
