Good gun, replace the cord prior to use
I have only one complaint about the gun, and that is the cheap plastic line they used for retaining the spear. It broke after only about twenty shots. After a deeper than comfortable free dive to retrieve the spear, I swam back to the boat and accomplished a repair using the line they had provided as a leash. I would recommend all users do the same, but prior to getting the gun wet. The convenience of size, makes this an easy gun to pack and it still has enough punch for small game.

so far so good
I just got this gun from my dad and I am very happy. I bought it for just $215 instead of the usual $250 from High Sierra Divers. The leg holster should have a few more holes so it can fit younger people but on me it fits great. It comes with a spear and a spear tip but the spear is not stainless steel. there is a pump as well as loader. Attached to the spear is a plastic string which is useless but the package contains a better string + an rubber O ring. I can't wait to use it at the Black Sea this summer.

Good speargun but no case is included!
The speargun no longer has the power adjustment which seems to still be shown on the side of the barrel. Also the product description said that the order included a " JBL international case GunMate by Michaels of Oregon, very nice" . This did not arrive with the order and I don't expect it ever will. But it is still a quality product at a good price.

Great gun (given as a gift)
Great small spear gun for those compact cave dives. Two issues, one is the one sold is not the same as the one shipped. It doesn't have the pressure regulator for the MIN/MAX as shown on the butt of the gun. Next, which wasn't there fault, it didn't fit my .55 spear gun tip. I think the scuba shops sold them are in imperial as opposed to metric. Still a great gun none the less. I hope I will not need that pressure regulator knob.
