Yes it does but only around a 15 percent decrease it's a little noticeable but not bad

1. The it's a peel and stick adhesive material you get 1ft by 5ft you will have enough for your head lights and to help make sure of that use a heat gun or blow dryer that produces a good amount of heat so that you can apply it with minimum problems
