I remember back in the days when all power strips came with keyholes in the back so that you have the option to mount on a wall or secure against something so that it doesn't move when you plug and unplug from the strip outlets.Grant it this APC surge protector is $3 more expensive than the compared Belkin model but you get whole lot more features and better quality for that price difference, but the biggest difference is the peace of mind.BOTTOM LINE:5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended.

I've had the pleasure of a few of these going through a massive surge. They did their job but i had to replace them. I took them apart to confirm the amount of protection as well. The size is great for tucking away, plug spacing manages to fit most plugs without blocking.Something to keep in mind if your home got hit by lightning or an electrical fault that it's better to err on the side of caution in these situations and just replace them. The protection does "run out" over enough surges and this won't always result in the strip not working to supply power. It'll keep "working" but not to prevent surges. Cheap insurance really.

This heavy duty power surge plug is great. Good length and plenty of outlets.

We purchased a Lyft chair and it recommended using a specific level surge protector. I needed black to blend with carpet. This protector fit the bill and is working great.

APC is a trusted brand that I rely on for surge protectors, power strips, and UPS devices. Their products are well-built and reasonably priced. The angled plug design reduces interference with other electronics plugged into the same wall outlet, which is a considerate feature.This power strip includes 7 outlets, and they are well-spaced. The extra spacing for the last outlet is convenient for accommodating larger adapters. It also has four holes if you wish to mount the power strip on a wall, desk, or another surface, although I haven't personally used that feature.All the outlets securely hold the plugs. The only feature I wish it had is a sliding dust cover for unused outlets, but given the price, I am very satisfied.

I am using this in my glass studio to power and protect some very expensive equipment. The switched power makes it much safer for me to set up and take down at the end of the day, and I trust APC. I have used their products for years and have not had a problem yet, despite being connected to what has to be the worst public utility company in the uS.

APC is a brand I can trust and this item is high-quality and priced well. I bought a few.

If I need a basic surge protector at my clients locations, this is my goto. It does exactly what I want it to do, easy to mount if needed, easy to tuck away and looks good. I love the flat plugs as well. Power strips should be replaced at least every 5 years in a business, but I keep running across ancient ones that belong in my museum and not used to plug in a brand new $2k desktop or laptop :) So either I buy them or my client does, but if your old power strip is now yellow when it started out white - get these.

Got this for the wife's sit/stand desk, which has a metal cable management tray. This fit perfectly inside the tray and the cable was long enough and sturdy enough that it could get to the outlet, but also not get eaten by our robot vacuum!

La marca APC siempre ha sido muy buena; este supresor de picos no es la excepción ya que sus materiales son extraordinarios, el tamaño si es considerablemente grande y el cable también lo es, además de que el cable si es un poco grueso. Si buscas algo de buena calidad de materiales, éste estará perfecto para ti, solo considera que requiere de mucho espacio ya que éste equipo si es un poco largo, es robusto.

I bought two of these - different models, same brand - and I actually prefer this one, which is less expensive . It lacks the USB ports that I wanted but the form factor is so streamlined, it makes for tucking it away that much easier and it looks tidier. I bought the one with lime green on the bottom (wasn't by choice - the grey bottom was not available at time of purchase), and it's fine. You can't see it. The important thing is to have white so that the dust doesn't show, it blends into our white baseboards and light grey walls at home. Excelente regulador. Materiales muy resistentes y de gran calidad. Diseño muy bonito y funcional. Tiene suficiente espacio entre cada toma de corriente. Lo que me encantó es el largo del cable lo que permite colocarlo en diferentes lugares. Tiene orificios para ponerlo en la pared. Tengo 1 mes con él y hasta el momento todo perfecto. Sin duda volvería a comprarlo.
