iPhone 7 Case, Aduro Combo Shell & Holster - Super Slim Shell with Built-in Kickstand, Swivel Belt Clip Holster for Apple iPhone 7 (Black)

This is my second Aduro case for my iPhone SE. I like this because it has a a belt clip so I can attach it to my waist band of any pants I'm wearing and don't have to carry my phone around or stick it in my pocket.When in the case, it slips out easily to take a call or view a text. The inside of the clip has a soft felt-like material that faces your phone's screen so it won't scratch it. It has a "kickstand" built in to the section that cradles the phone so you can stand it up in front of you, which is a good feature for FaceTime to just using it hands free while you're doing a task.Each shell is made of a polycarbonate or plastic material with a textured design pattern on it, which gives you something to grip on to while holding the phone.

I have bought multiple cases/shells for my cell phones over the years, and have always returned to this one. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars, as it is the best I have found, but it is not perfect.I currently only use the shell and not the holster. The holster worked fine when I used to use it. I currently have an iPhone SE 2nd generation.Things I like:The shell is reasonably thin, so I can carry the phone in my pocket.I really like the kickstand which allows me to stand up the phone vertically or horizontally when watching videos or making phone calls or video calls.Things I don't like:It is difficult to put the shell on the phone and to take it off. I am often concerned about breaking the shell when doing this. Is there a way to make one or more of the edges out of a more flexible material that would make this easier to do?I break the shell periodically and often have to replace it twice a year or more. Sometimes it is because thekickstand wears out or breaks when I am opening or closing it. Sometimes it is because I dropped the phone and the sides of the shell break (which is certainly much better than having the phone break).If the shell design can not be improved to fix the issues described, it would be helpful if the manufacturer could sell the shell alone, without the holster, as I have had to throw away multiple holsters. If it is not cost effective to sell an individual shell, perhaps you could sell 2 of them for about the price of the current shell plus holster, and that would ease your customers concerns about having to replace the shell periodically.

Perfect fit for my iPhone!

I was looking for a holster case so I could carry my work phone on the belt and my personal phone in a pocket; two phones inside a pocket is not a comfortable situation by any means. I had never heard of the Aduro brand before, but decided to take a risk.FormThe textured pattern on the back adds a nice touch. I also love that the case covers up the Apple logo, as that logo makes the phone way too appealing to potential thieves.FunctionEvery port and button remain fully operational. This case only wraps around the sides of the phone, not the top and the bottom. This is not that good when it comes to protecting the frame of the phone. The holster has a nice, soft surface to protect the phone's screen when you have the phone inserted in the holster. The belt clip is much sturdier than I was expecting, and it rotates so you can carry your phone in portrait or landscape orientation. I don't have the worry that my phone is going to come out of the belt clip as I walk and move around. Camera and flash are unobstructed. I've had this case for a month now, and I still haven't been able to figure out how to pull out the kickstand -- it is not an easy to use feature, but it isn't something I needed on a case anyway.FeelThe textured pattern on the back of the case doesn't feel as nice as it looks, but it is not a deal breaker. The top of the belt clip feels a bit uncomfortable when I'm sitting down, but I can't really blame Aduro for my weight gain. My only gripe with this case is that the phone feels too unprotected when you have it out of the holster.

I recently bought a case from this brand for my first generation iPhone SE and liked it so much because finally I had a case that did not block the charging port when the holster was on the back of the phone to use the kickstand. I decided I hated the case I had on my second generation SE and was happy to find this case by this brand. Not only does this offer the same convenience of not blocking the port it also is the best fitting case of this type that I’ve had and this is probably the sixth or seventh case of this type I have purchased. This is the first one that is very easy to slide the phone in and out of the holster yet still feels like it has a very secure fit. I’ve had some cases where I was afraid I was actually going to break the holster trying to put it on the back of the phone to use the kickstand but this one slides like a dream, probably because the sides are a little bit straighter on the bottom half which makes it slide much easier. All in all, a very nice case at a great price and I’m so glad I found this brand. The only thing still left on my wish list would be slightly higher sides to feel like the phone has a bit more protection while out of the holster. The first generation SE case has this but this one does not.

These are tough cases and they protect your phone very well.
