Yes if you tighten it and don’t slam down on it. But the vise probably won’t be able to grip onto your tablet (tanlet?)

Hi, it has USB holder in the middle. So, you can dock Nexus in the position where the usb jack can be inserted into the USB holder.

You are right; the neck has a limited number of positions and it takes perseverance to get your iPad approximately where you want it to be
