I took of the DC jack of an Arduino Uno R4, and soldered it in it's place, as it will go through the voltage regulator that way. Worked great. I wish it was easier to mount though, I 3D printed a mount so that I could put it in an enclosure with other components

Used this in an old intercom system to provide bluetooth thru the aux input. This little converter fit nicely inside the cabinet, attached with some velcro. It is quite small and light. Left it on for hours and ho issues with heat. 110V draw is nominal so was able to use 18 gauge wire from 110 source to this. Cut an old USB cable to provide power to bluetooth. Probably 20 gauge. Holes for wires are quite small, but what I used fit fine. Anything bigger may be an issue. Or you could use a push on connector. Yes, you get two of them that need to be separated. Just used my dremel with a thin abrasive blade to score the seam and then snapped apart. Easy peasy. I'm sure you could do the same with a sharp knife. There appear to be no electronics of traces in the area you need to cut.

Amazing product very well made extremely compact. I use these to restore the power supply for individual 12 V LEDM 16 lights that are on tracks. The Transformers always kept burning out so and the track lights are no longer available so I just simply repair them as they burn out by soldering in this compact power Supply . They anre absolutely amazing. Just have to use tiny wires, but if you’re handy with a soldering iron and electronics work that reconstruction takes about 10 minutes of each of the track lights that use an individual transformer and fit inside The original casing I couldn’t be happier.

They are so far working well for my use. Compact, very little heat and a good 12.14 volts give or take on the output side with a steady 120 volts input. Am basically using as fan drivers and or lighting for bench tools such as solder station fume fan and so on. Only draw back to these is no repeat no mounting holes and basically require clips or something equivalent to mount them. I got glued the edges a piece of insulating substrate which was hot glued in place. They work. Very nice build quality. Only 4 stars until I see how long they hold up. One is cooled and the other open air in cased. Really don't believe these will have any problems.
