First time changing a toilet seat, relatively simple but would've liked a little more detailed instructions.It did chip on the back but that might have occured during or post delivery in my country. Nothing a little superglue couldn't fix.Thanks for delivering internationally, you'd be surprised how hard it is to find this kind of thing.

Best deal you are going to find on price and quality -- so get it while you can. Looks great. Can be adjusted when fitting to accommodate however far apart the bolt holes on you kharzi are. A cinch to fit -- but here's a top tip so you can learn from the mistake I made......the first thing you do is shove plastic bolt housings into the holes on your WC. All well and good, but it seemed to me they were too loose and risked popping out. Cue a rummage round in the garage for a slightly thicker bolt with a nut I could tighten from the underside of the pan. WRONG!Take a closer look at the plastic bolt housing. The way it works is that the supplied bolt is screwed down into the main body of it, then there is a gap, and it screws into another bit held on by plastic. The result is that, as you screw, the extended section worms its way up into the main part, expanding it tight into the WC hole. So instead of, like me, assuming your bog holes are too big, just keep screwing until the entire thing starts to tighten.

Anyone looking for a square toilet seat replacement should really consider this as an option. My requirement was to fix or replace the original toilet seat, first purchased over five years ago. I had a good search but couldn't get the same. So Its crucial to check the measurements of the existing seat and compare to whats available. You wont get the exact same dimensions but the general size of fittings is close enough but more importantly adjustable to suit most needs.I took account of some more recent negative comments regarding the plastic bolt fastenings and i did doubt it would work at first, after reading another buyers experiences, i made sure to trust the design and keep tightening the bolts until secure. Basic pictorial instructions are included but its important to note the plastic plug and bolt came already attached and its not clear (to a novice like me) that these should be disconnected before inserting the plugs to the holes in the toilet bowl. You risk breaking the plastic plugs if you insert them with the screw already in place as i attempted to.having completed the first steps it was simple to check for the length, make adjustments, and attach or remove the seat before adding the steel covers. To be honest i wasn't sure it was going to be so easy when i started but it really was.there are no additional tools required other than a screw driver. My only concern was the hole in the seat was noticeably smaller than the previous one but once in place it was still acceptable.its early days and i will have to see how well it fairs but looks great and has some great features such as the soft closing seat and lid and the one touch button for quick attachment or removal. i'm only reserving a couple of stars until i have had some time to see how sturdy it is in every day use.i will be updating this post in a few weeks time

after an accident resulting in a smashed toilet seat I needed a replacement and fast! I looked on amazon at all the different kinds not knowing what would actually fit my toilet, I pretty much closed my eyes and hoped for the best! The toilet seat came very quickly! Super impressed with that! Then was time to fit the seat! Now I’m not great at DIY! (Im the move a bed and burst a pipe and flood the kitchen kinda person!) so again I closed my eyes and hoped for the best with fitting the seat, after some adjustment I managed to get the seat to fit!!!! Was actually ridiculously easy! And it’s even better than my old toilet seat! Very comfy, and soft closing!!!!!Goes to show that sometimes closing your eyes and Hoping for the best actually pays off!

This was a relatively expensive purchase at a penny under £45 (I note its nearly a fiver cheaper now) and at first it seemed quite sturdy and robust, as well as aesthetically pleasing, that is until today when it split down the middle (see the images). Now I’ve known plenty of seats split along the back, especially the soft close type (which this also was), however, I’ve never known one split like this. At a shade over 14 months, we thought we’d get a little longer out of it – seems not. Just purchased a replacement through an alternative supplier, via Amazon, at a slightly cheaper price BUT with a 5 year guarantee….

We have kept this as we needed a new seat but not overly impressed. The seat is narrower than expected both the width of the sides and from the overall quoted dimensions. The edge to edge seat width is 340mm - so smaller than we needed- the 361mm quoted is the outside of the lid - not the seat. The grommets supplied for top fitting are pretty flimsy so didn't give confidence these would last. Finally there is a lot of play in the seat fittings so that the seat moves around on the hinges and doesn't sit square- even if the hinges are screwed down tight and are level. The supplied brand is JT Pickfords. Overall quality is not good for the price.
