STARTRC Lipo Safe Bag Fireproof

Good lipo storage and charge bag, more convenient than the lipo sacks. The bag seems decent quality so far and the zip works as it should. I've used military ammunition cases and they work great for charging and storing, but these are again slightly more convenient. Im really into RC, so have lots of lithium polymer batteries, it's sensible to store them in a fireproof bag, just in case. Remember to not leave them unattended whilst charging and charge on a not combustible surface 😉 The rectangular design means you can have your balance leads and charge lead and zip the bag round leaving the wires coming out. Recommended!

Bought as a temporary measure until my Ammo box arrives. Hopefully I'll never get to experience a lipo fire but one can never be too sure. I've been leaving the zip open on mine about 20mm as I've read if one goes bang and the blast has no were to run out it tears the bag apart. Sounds reasonable i suppose hence why people using ammo boxes remove the rubber seals and drill a few holes in the box to allow an escape for gases if the worst case scenario occurs.

It feels solid and well made, but there are a couple of things to point out. 1. The dimensions are as described, but it is smaller than it looks in the pictures. The hand-model must have quite small hands. Sill, it's big enough to house four Mavic batteries with ease. 2. The zips and stitching are not in any way fireproof beyond the usual garment requirements. There is no internal flap to cover the zip to prevent the zip material from coming into contact with flame. You can spray it with Proban (used on racing suits) or a similar product to add that protection. It's certainly far better than nothing and likely much safer than a normal bag, but be aware its not going to be as effective as more expensive fire bags.

Plenty of space for batteries and other smaller things you might need for a day of flying. Really good quality material and build quality is great. I would highly recommend this as it is not like the other cheap lipo bags which don't offer the same functionality and quality.

Excellent bag! Haven't actually had a battery that got fire but it really feels like it would easily stop it. Great space... I can easily put 8 batteries (3-4S 2200 mAh). The only thing that I would like it to have is like a special "hole" to put the charger inside of it and leave it charging without having to worry, but maybe doing this isn't safe anyways so that's why they don't do it.

Decent size, decent price, good quality and finish. 'Fireproofness' I can't report on. It is definitely 'Fireproofer' than not having any protection around your batteries.

La maggior parte delle persone che adocchierà questa borsa probabilmente utilizzeranno o arriveranno dai droni stabilizzati DJI e simili, che utilizzano batterie intelligenti molto sicure nell'utilizzo e riposo. Quando si utilizzano lipo di altro genere tipicamente in uso su FPV 'puri' è bene che esse siano riposte in modo da scongiurare incendi, ma soprattutto ricaricate mentre si trovano su materiali refrattari. Ecco il senso di questa borsa, dotata di zip e separatori rigidi a velcro (Di ottima qualità). La presenza della borchia richiudibile è appositamente pensata per far passare i cavi di ricarica e mantenere le batterie all'interno. Questo tipo di borsa è consigliata (e a volte richiesta) per le batterie da portare in volo su aerei di linea. Una volta svuotata può essere piegata/appiattita e riposta in una taschina del vostro zaino/valigia. Startrc ormai una garanzia ! Ob die Tasche einem explodierenden Akku standhält, kann ich nicht sagen. Zum Aufbewahren und Transport ist sie ok. Die Wände sind dünn und weich und somit nicht mit einem Akku-Koffer zu vergleichen.

Da Produktfotos immer aufgebauscht werden und man Größen schlecht einschätzen kann, war ich erst skeptisch, allerdings muss ich sagen, das Produkt konnte mich Positiv umstimmen, es hat genug Platz für 8 Akkus, in meinem Fall 2x 4s Tattu und 2x 4s Ovonic LiPo's für meine Drohne und eine 12v LiIon Batterie. Dabei sind 6x Trennwände mit Klettverschluss dabei, kann man sich einteilen, wie man will. Falls ich bald mehr Akkus habe, würde ich diese Tasche wieder kaufen.
