I tested item for gas smell and smell of my ljghter for cigarettes. No sound, no alarm at all. I even burned paper and tried to check with smoke of that burned paper. No way, no reaction, no sound. So I am dissapointed now. I expected immediate reaction for any strange smell of gas and smoke. But item is only blinking / stand by is on, thats it. But when I press test button, it sounds very noisy sound each time when I press.

Easy to install - easy instructions for testing- 10 years from now I can write a follow up to see if it lasted the whole time.

These units are small in size and not intrusive; I'd recommend for sure.

The drilling on the ceiling installing the base very hard time ,Used hardener sticker to base and ceiling & looks cute .

Slightly concerned that the battery is not replaceable, so lets hope the 10year lifespan works out

لقد جربته وافظل مااشتريته من امزون حتي الان ..جودة اعتماديه ..واحتمال اطلب المزيد منه..وحجمه صغير ..انصح من يريد وضعه في الجدار لا يحتاج الي وضع مسامير فقط اكتفيت بوضع ملصق من امزون قوي جدا يلصق من الجهتين وسوف يؤدي الغرض بدون أضاعه وقتك في الحفرة من اجل المسامير..يستحق كل دولار واتوقع سوف اكرر عملية الشراء
