Perfect Waist Tape Measure - 60"

Great product; it comes in handy for me.

Does what it says and easy to use. I like that it has measurements on both sides of the tape so you can use it for just measuring something normally with the regular side or with the offset side by sliding the pin into the slot.

I'm using this to measure my waist during my latest weight-loss efforts. MUCH much easier to use than my regular old tape measure and cheap. I like it a lot.

This is a pretty nifty gadget. I saw that plenty enough people complained about the red plastic knob falling off and rendering this measuring tape useless, so I proactively used heavy duty clear packing tape to make sure that the first inch of the tape was too thick to snap back inside of the plastic casing and that red knob was securely affixed under my tape job. I cut a piece of packing tape down to the size I needed then neatly stuck the tape to one side of the fabric measuring tape then snugly affixed the tape over the red knob, then continued sticking the tape down the other side of the fabric tape measure. (making sure that the red knob is NOT coming off) then I went around the measuring tape with more packing tape securing the ends of the packing tape. I Then I made a strip of tape that I folded on itself three times so that I had a bulky 1/4' wide piece of tape which I then affixed around the fabric tape with more tape over it. Now I will still treat this item gingerly, but if that red knob somehow comes off the end-- the first inch of the measuring tape is too thick to snap back inside of the casing.January 2015 my pre-emptive repair has worked well. This is a very handy tool. And when the neighbor's daughter spied it on the kitchen table, she immediately picked it up and pulled the tape out then let it snap back inside. All faster than I can even type the scenario out. And my tape held. There was that moment you just don't know how it is going to unfold. A few days later an adult scooped it up and did the same thing. People can't resist doing it so even you intend to be careful someone else won't be. I am happy to report that my taped end held beautifully.

This product makes it easy to measure and record my weight loss in inches. Much easier than using my wife's precious tape measure, which must be carefully rolled after I use it and returned to her sewing basket. It's made of plastic but more than durable enough for the light use it gets. Very convenient to use as the tape end locks into the body under tension as you note the measurement, than rewinds into the body with a press of the button.

It is really hard for me to get an accurate measurement. I will let you know later if I change my mind but as for right now I love it! The only suggestion I would give is when you go to take it off hold the tape at setting when taking off because mine wanted to retract a little. I'm hoping it will give me a more accurate fitting. When measuring with my normal sewing tape measure I got a larger size when measuring myself. So I measured my tape measure against this one and it was exact and the 2" at start was 2". This is a dream come true for me. I hope this helps

Broke after two months. The plastic tab broke off and tape disappeared inside the casing.
