Perfect for me
I really like this product. On my original XD there isn’t much grip texture, and with .357 sig I just needed a little something to help out especially on hot days when my hands get sweaty. The grip glove massively improves comfort and handling, and I have no complaints at all. I’ve heard some people complain about the finger grooves, but they happen to be absolutely perfect for my particular hand/finger geometry. In fact, the finger grooves make it much more comfortable for me personally. I highly recommend.

Install is EASY with no lubricant
Install is EASY with no lubricant on a springfield XD to get a proper grip it will defeat the grip safety .Not a negative for me for others it might be .some reviews said it was hard to impossible to install ... Don't know what they were facing or doing .But I submit they did not even try . It went on in 10 seconds .It helps me index my hand to a more constant grip .The product is different than the picture .. note how it's curved at the bottom and not square as shown .. not a problem .

Adds a Little Bulk but it feels pretty good
I'm not sure why the polymer gun manufactures haven't figured out that one size (or type) grip does not fit all. Some people really like "sandpaper" like grips, some like the stippling, some like different sized backsraps. For me, I don't care what type of gun it is, I like the rubberized Hogue style grips with the finger notches. It would be awesome if I could just somehow replace the grips on my XDM with a Hogue or Pachmayr aftermarket grip, but I simply cant. So this Grip Glove is the closest I can come. So with the smallest backstrap on, I slid this Grip Glove fairly easily. It does of course add a little thickness to the grip but it's pretty soft and the finger slots feel real good.Would I buy this again? Yes. But I still wish I had the opportunity to just change out the grips. Other than that little drawback, the Springfield XDM line is pretty sweet.

Pachmayr slip-on 'its okay'EDIT: 'its not okay'
well this is a case of not quite sure if its what i need but its pretty cheap so why not give it a go. its a good rubbery texture, slips on with a little effort but nothing mind boggling. seems to slide down under a few rounds of dry practice. we'll see how it does under live fire soon enough. if it slides down and interferes with the magwell I might get some friction tape, or try the other brand. So far it feels good tho. good tackyness with sweaty palms.Edit: 1/15/2012 - well it keeps sliding down in front. not necessarily the backside riding up over the grip safety on my xd, but the front of it sliding down over the lip of the front of the magwell.. now to be quite clear it hasn't quite obscured the magwell such that i haven't been able to conduct a reload but, well, i dunno. i'm looking into an alternative product that involves adhesive, or possibly incorporating adhesive in some way to prevent it from sliding. I think i might try the skid tape as some other user mentioned here, because the change in grip size, albeit slight, makes a huge difference in the dynamics involved with a proper firing grip.Edit: 1/26/2012So its official. After buying the Hogue grip, I feel that this Pachmayr grip glove was a total waste of 13$. seriously. this grip is pretty squishy and kept sliding down the frontstrap on me, whereas the Hogue doesn't move. period. and the fit and finish on the Hogue was much better, to my surprise, and a much more pleasing texture to hold. not to say that this doesn't work, but when it comes to 10$ slip on grip sleeves, i'm glad one of the two worked for me. Updated down to 1 star. cuz now i have a useless gripsleeve in my dresser...Edit: 1/28/2012Went to the range again to give it another try. it keeps moving around a little but not too bad, then after I had gotten through a box of ammo I went to reload and noticed the sleeve was hanging off the front of the gun. So I took it off and threw the Hogue grip back on and everything was better. fwiw I'm returning this grip sleeve, chalking it up as 'defective'.

Great grip!
Great price, good quality and the grip makes it easier to hold the gym for less recoil.

Decent Grips...
Had a pair replacing my Ruger GP100's wooden grips. Had a real good feeling to them and seemed to enhance the six gun's management as they were quite smaller than the original's. Gave it a secure and very comfortable feeling. Even improved my scores in shooting competitions. These slip-on obviously are of a different category as they are fitted on a semi. But they too offer a very nice feel. Comfortable, secure and rather appealing as well. They don't move around and have to torque them back into place. For the price they ask, I'd say it's a good purchase. *Remember, these are for larger pistol grips. But they stretch well, fit well and feel pretty good.
