I tried the Genie color first. Which is a deep purple. My hair is nearly all silver, and I left it in my hair for three hours. It was darker and more nylon looking than I wanted, it looked like a wig, but it was a fantastic, intense color. Over the next couple shampoos, it faded to a lovely, soft purple and now as you can see in the photo it’s a lovely lavender. Then I tried Bunny, which is depicted as a kind of intense baby pink. Sadly, it did not cover any of my silver, it’s as though I didn’t use any hair color at all, and I left it in for 3 1/2 hours! So if you want an intense purple go with Genie. But don’t waste your money on the Bunny color. I’m now going to try the Chocolate Cherry which looks like an intense dark pink. And see if that’ll give me a nice base at my roots and maybe deepen the lavender. Stay tuned I’ll update my review…

Didn’t leave any color at all. My son’s hair is extremely blond, and we expected this to be a light purple / silvery tint. Applied as directed to clean, dry hair. Left it in for over an hour, wrapped in a plastic cap. Washed out with cool water. When we dried his hair there was no color at all. The only positive was the dye smells nice. But basically a very expensive jar of conditioner.

Truly found my unicorn! I’ve been trying numerous brands of purple semi permanent hair dye looking for that perfect dusty lavender color and every time something isn’t quite right. Too pink, too blue, too dark, not dark enough, etc. Lime Crime Oyster is the perfect color! It smells great, a little goes a long way, and it is so easy to touch up. Super cute packaging as well! This is the holy grail… the “unicorn” I’ve been searching for! 🦄

As a medium to light blonde I unfortunately didn’t get any of the smoky lavender color after leaving it on for an hour. I was pleased to see that it acted like more of a toner to reduce yellow and brassy tones. Great toner for me, but unfortunately no light purple color results.

It’s really only for white blonde hair. Which in their descriptions they are very clear about that. So people who are trying it on anything darker than a level 9 blonde will most likely not get what they want. Also recommend leaving it on the full 40 minutes since its such a pale pink. This is my favorite go to pink hair dye, its the perfect shade for me. It’s not too peachy and not too lavender. It fades a little faster but it’s a tint, so I recommend buying a couple if you plan on having pink for awhile. This dye is user friendly and smells really pretty compared to other pink dyes. I get asked all the time what dye I use and how I got that color.

Very pretty light color. A lot more product in jar than I expected which was nice bc I was able to do two applications. No bad smell. Packaging could be better, a little hard to get product out. Other than that my only other complaint is that it fades a bit odd. Turned my hair like a green and blue in sections.

This is a tint, so understand that it's not supposed to color your hair for a long period of time. It's not going to be a deep color. It's really only going to work well on platinum hair, otherwise some colors will look weird or not even show up at all. I suggest using a semi permanent dye if you want deep long lasting color. To make sure it does not come out patchy, use it on washed, unconditioned, dry hair, and make sure to saturate well by combing it through. Leave it in for at least 30 mins, but I leave it in for up to 4 hours. I use tints because they don't stain my hair, and I can change the color often without bleach washing. If I don't like the color, it washes out quickly. The scent is strong and may be unpleasant to some, so make sure to rinse it out well.

I've been using Overtone, which has a mild, non-overwhelming wintergreen scent, thankfully. But someone suggested I try Lime Crime claiming it wasn't overly fragranced... Wrong. I really do wish I could use it, because I do like the color options they offer. However, given that these products are left on the hair for hours for the best result, and then the fragrance lingers for DAYS afterward, even hanging on after your hairs been washed... I just can't. Instant headache. If it was something unobtrusive - something citrusy like lemon, or minty, or herbal like rosemary, or a more neutral woodsy vetiver, I could do it. But these fruity flowery fragrances all smell like you just stuck my head in a Yankee Candle shop, clashing with every other overly-fragranced cosmetic product that doesn't bother considering more sensitive customers. *sigh*

The box it arrived in was already open & the instructions were missing ☹️ Can't comment on the actual product as i don't know how long i should leave it on! 😂

Not only did it not come out like the colour its supposed to ( my hair was very light blonde) it has also ruined my hair by turning it green just after 1 wash. I wish I could get a refund as now I will have to spend more money and ruin my hair even further to try and get the green out of my hair by bleaching it again.

Smells great, easy to use and cleans off the floor, bath, face and everything else that isn't your hair pretty easily. I have medium brown hair and I left it on for an hour to get good results that last over a week , great for holiday hair . Already reordered

Au début c’était beau, la coloration sent bon MAIS après un seul lavage la couleur tourne au vert ! Je ne recommande pas.

Utilisé sur cheveux décoloré mais pas a blanc partout et ça n'a quasiment pas pris
