The Quintessential Reference and Guide
This book made it happen for me. Finally. Book ideas piled up inside my heart for decades, while I was contributing editor for a magazine, letting others distract me, researching Writer's Market, it wasn't until I discovered Chandler's methods that I finally wrote my flagship book. This guidebook, provides the necessary steps in simple, comprehensive terms. Published is like the cheerleader, the nurturing, supportive friend that points the way, pats you on the back, and celebrates every milestone on the way to publishing.

A must read for anyone considering self publishing a book
Chandler does a great job at giving practical proven principles for creating, publishing, and launching a book. While the principles might not be easy, they are clear. If you are interested in self publishing a book, reading this book will remove the vast majority of questions while encouraging you. One of my favorite parts is the four ways to launch your book, which has practical tips based on your situation and experience.

Great Book for Beginning Self-Publishing
Great Book to get started but with the advancements in AI some of the steps are obsolete. Also all the resources promised are broken. You updated your book but not the resources links. Spend few bucks on that. Still a must read.

You Don't Know What You Don't Know
The book has been crafted in such a way that I was given the answers to the questions that I didn't know to ask. I will be better prepared to publish my first book. I might have given up on the whole thing. Now I know I can do this and what to expect along the way.Bill

Inspiring and easy to follow
This book turned what felt like an intimidating mountain of information about how to write and publish a book into easy to swallow bite sized pieces. As I was reading I felt motivated and confident that I could actually follow through and not only write a book, but publish it as well. This book is for anyone that wants to get started writing, but feels a little wary when staring down the barrel of the writing and publishing process. This book will put your mind at ease!

Great roadmap to get started writing.
So, I never really wanted to write a nonfiction book. Figured I never had the credentials to pull it off. So I got this book for some of my novels that I've been working on for years, but never really do much with them. The book is geared more towards nonfiction, and it got me thinking about what I could write about. As I was reading, I knew what could be a good possible topic that I know a lot about. I finished the book, did the mind mapping exercise and ideas flowed pretty good.Did the outlining phase, and I'm liking where it's going. I have a couple more books I want to read first that are related to my topic before I really flesh it out and start writing. I know my outline will have to change. But it literally gives you steps to follow and has been very simple so far. I'm not too worried about writing the first draft so quickly, because mine is going to require research and making sure I don't misquote medical professionals. But the importance of a deadline cannot go understated. It helps ignite the spark and hold you accountable. The chapters about ideas for growing your marketing team, and how to build support for the book before its released is very logical. I like the way he explains.I don't understand how many of the negative reviews say all he does is talk about himself. And try to upsell. He weaves in personal stories to show how certain principles in the book has worked for him. That helps paint a picture. But there is a great roadmap in here. Amd he only upselled the additional training at the end of the book. He mentions the SPS 90 day method many times throughout the book, but that is whay hes explaining! I recommend it for people who think they aren't capable to writing AND publishing a book.

Practical. Real. Simple. Easy to follow. Do-able.
If you are thinking of buying any of Chandler's books - this is the one! All of Chandler's secrets about how to become a published author are laid out in practical steps that (if you follow them) are guaranteed to take you from 'blank page' to successful 'published author'.I learned so much from Chandler's previous books that I couldn't wait for this one to come out. Apart from the actual writing there is so much about publishing and self publishing that would be impossible to learn quickly without accessing the knowledge of someone who's already made all the mistakes and has learned from practical experience what works and what doesn't. You could easily waste huge amounts of time trying to figure this out for yourself; weighing up all the zillions of differing viewpoints and options and trying to figure out what's best for you - while probably spending a fortune along the way. Or, you can read this book. What I've already learned from Chandler Bolt has allowed me to successfully launch three of my own books; I now have the belief and confidence that I can continue producing and publishing books in multiple genres thanks, in the main, to what I have learnt from him. Chandler has changed my life for the better because, unlike so many other so-called self-help books, Chandler's books don't just contain vague promises; they outline realistic, practical, do-able steps that most average people could put into practice; he shows you how to do it from the knowledge he has acquired by doing it himself. Chandler is a successful author many times over, but more than that, he also shows you how to market and promote your book successfully to actually make sales - or use your book as a tool to promote your career as an expert in your field. If you truly want to be an author and you're prepared to be teachable, Chandler bolt is your man. Trust him. Listen to him. Do what he says. If your book idea has any merit Chandler will show you how to turn into polished gold. If you don't have an idea yet but believe that you can be an author and that there is a book idea deep down inside you; Chandler can show you how to mine that idea and bring it to the surface.Being an author takes commitment and effort but if you've got that and only need the pathway to get there, Chandler's book 'Published' is that pathway. I personally followed Chandler's advice from his previous books and courses and I have now just published my third book (both Kindle and print versions). I know from personal experience that what he teaches is real and it works. I've tried a lot of things that didn't work and followed a lot of advice that led nowhere. Chandler's books are the 'meat and potatoes' of what you need to do to get published. No waffle. Just solid, practical advice you can put into practice today.Buy 'Published' now. You won't regret it.

Good writing, great information, but be selective
This book has an accessible, highly readable style that models how the author wants us to write. The steps are systematic and clear. I enjoyed it and it will remain an important reference for the complicated process of self-publishing. Where I feel the reader needs to remain skeptical is in the sections on book launch and marketing. If you are Chandler Bolt's kind of go-getter or aspire to be, the tips are all useful. For a publicity novice like me, they are eye-opening and even a bit of shock treatment. If you agree to go all-out, you will learn to chase after anyone you know or meet (nicely and courteously, of course) including your family and friends. I was a recipient of this kind of direct and repeated request for a review and, although I agreed, felt uncomfortable. I would still use those recommendations to gain vital support, but with somewhat less pressure. So the advice is good and I'm sure profitable, but I feel has to be tempered by each author to suit her or his personal goals and style. For the other sections, they are more or less universally applicable. I gained a great deal and am likely to look into Bolt's other offerings as well.

Great book!
From the moment that I started reading this book I was delighted at it's ability to hook the reader into just wanting to get that book done and out there. It's writing style was very encouraging. Even though I have already done that and am continuing to publish more books I felt that every page gave me a great sense of encouragement into writing and publishing my books and into encouraging others to do the same. Thank you Chandler for doing this update on your earlier one. I will make a lot of use of it.
