Great tool, But
Scanner itself works great. My concern is why did it arrive wrapped in bubble wrap and not in factory packaging? Was this a return?

Full featured easy to read large lighted screen, love electrical and battery indicators.
I seem to go through stud finders about every 5 years or so. They just seem to stop working well after some time. I usually buy the cheaper models, so I guess I should expect that. This Zircon is a step up from what I usually buy. There are a few things I like about this model (A200) and a few minor things I don't. The things I like are the accuracy when it finds a stud and the red light on center. The ability to show electrical is great. This is a new feature for me. One great feature is the battery indicator. I have found that stud finders are quite particular about having a fully charged strong battery in them. In the cheaper models you don’t know the battery is weakening and you start having problems or difficulties. Usually, a fresh strong battery is the solution. This one is no different. I installed a “new” battery but right away it showed it was low and the device has some operational issues. I found another new battery that was strong, and the device worked fine. Seeing the charge level of the battery is a great feature. The things I don't like are the size.... it is kind of large in my hand. Also, it is a little touchy with regard to finding studs, sometimes it reads falsely, you really need to go over a suspected stud a few times to make sure you have a stud. This is no different than others I have used. Also, this has a metal search, great for finding pipes and such. Overall, this is a good device for the money. I wish it was a little smaller and didn’t get false reading like it does from time to time but these are minor issues. Positives: • Nice large screen • Full featured, electrical, stud, metal scan • Battery monitor when low • Clear lighted indication of center of stud • Reasonable cost Negatives: • Rather large size in hand • Can get false reading sometimes. Honestly this is a good device. I think it could be made a little better, perhaps a rechargeable built in lithium battery instead of these 9 volts and a smaller more ergonomic design but again, this is a solid device that I expect years of service from, and my dislikes are pretty minor. Recommended 5 stars. This is my honest review of this item; I hope this it was helpful in your buying decision process.

Does linoleum cause a problem?
I needed a better stud finder to find the studs beneath a linoleum flooring. I set to "Deep Scan" after the normal scan didn't seem to work. I think it found a few electrical cables, but was not consistent finding the studs. I thought I found one, then searched for the next one either right or left, 16" centers. Nothing definite. I have access to the underneath in the basement, so I know they are on 16" centers and I know the direction of travel. So, why doesn't it work better. Has no problem finding them in the walls, which is good, and better than my old finder. So, I'll keep it, but I'll have to find a different way to find the stud positions for the squeaky sections under the linoleum. Added 3/5/2020: I went underneath the floor and drilled a locater hole 1 inch from the stud. Came up and marked the edges of the stud (1.5") based on the 1" offset from the locator. Used the finder in the marked area, and did not get any solid indication at all! It did give me a signal strength indication, but not definite enough. Went to the wall adjacent and: Perfect! Found the stud and located the wire as well. I think the subfloor/linoleum is causing the issue.

Works great! A replacement for 30yo Zircon. Calibrates very fast.
I bought this to replace my previous Zircon stud finder that I had for about 30 years before it gave up the ghost. This one does about the same thing, but has more bells and whistles, such as showing the center of a stud rather than scanning back and forth. It also seems to be able to find things deeper and more accurately than the old one. I see a lot of comments on this and other stud finders about the need to calibrate, or the unit does not always detect the studs correctly. "Calibration" is what the stud finder MUST do to be able to detect things behind the wall. This sets a basis for the unit to know what the "normal" wall looks like: how deep the Sheetrock/wall material is, how dense it is, etc., so it can detect changes to this. If you don't let the unit calibrate, it WILL NOT WORK! To "calibrate" simply hold the unit against the wall and push the button until the unit beeps. 2-3 seconds, then scan while holding the button down.

Locate the center of the stud as well as live electrical wires inside the wall
This stud finder is pretty cool. It will show you the center of the stud as well as the edges of the stud, it will show you metal studs, it will show you electrical wires. I never knew how much I needed a stud finder until I bought this one. I had to hang a porch swing and I was going to have to either cut holes in the ceiling of the porch to find the porch rafters / Joists or just start blindly inserting screws until I hit a stud but this pinpointed the center of the ceiling joists on the porch and allowed me to easily find the correct place to insert the eye screws. It also showed me that the original place I had planned on hanging the swing was not possible because there are live wires attached to that ceiling joist. I think it is a great value and it saved me so much time. I have used it multiple times since I purchased it

Its okay. It was accurate enough to help me put a TV mount but took a while
Overall, the accuracy was decent enough that I was able to avoid wires and metal behind the wall when installing my TV mount. I did, however, have to do this several times because it didnt give the same result every time. For instance, I would be pushing it until it detected electrical wire. I would do it again starting from a different point and it didnt ping, but did show I was close to the electrical wire. So it was inconsistent with detection.

Best stud finder I've used.
Best stud finder on the market. I misplaced my old stud finder and bought this one to replace it. It works great.

Great product
I needed a stud finder and choose this one because it supposedly finds multiple things in the wall. It works as described! I have used it successfully several times. It fits my hand well. It's easy to use. It's easy to read. I'm very comfortable with this product and recommend it.
