Can i use this with ps4 pro?

Yes you can in using 2 methods 1. The more expensive route, connecting it to a DAC like some of the answers here 2. Cheaper method, connect a USB to 3.5mm (Female) cable to the ps4 and get an RCA to 3.5mm (Male) cable and connect it to the Magni. Plug your preferred headphones in and voila. I've done this and can confirm it works.

Please define the term "op-amp"?

Op-amp = Operational Amplifier Circuit chips inside the unit which amplify the signal. A more traditional analog circuit design which provides a proven, reliable, usually warmer sounding sound.

Will thix provide enough power to my 250 ohm beyer dt770 headphones, without the feeling that i need more power?

Yes. For sure. With the high and low gain switch on the back you can power some serious impedance headphones. I have the DT990 Pro 250 ohms and I use the low gain setting and never really go above half on the dial.

Does it have the same pot as the older magni 3? It was scratchy in a lot of units and drove me crazy.

I had the Magni 3 and I had that same problem, but I have not detected that problem with the Heresy. I have had the Heresy for a couple of weeks with a fair amount of use- no scratchy pots.
