Wayne Dalton 303mhz 309884 297134 Garage Door Opener Remote

I bought two of these to operate a Wayne Dalton Quantum 3212 in a newly purchased house that did not come with any garage door openers. So far, we're very happy with them.The units are heavy and feel very well built. Programming was a cinch with the instructions that came with the remotes. For those who are a little confused by the process, it might help to know that the remote in this case is what generates the actual code. After programming a specific button on the remote by following the included instructions, you then press the PROGRAM / STATUS button on the motor unit once to get the red light to light up solid. When the STATUS light is lit, press the button on the remote that you just programmed, and the motor unit will learn and remember the code. Easy peasy.I only take off a review because these are rather expensive (as RF remote controls go). Unfortunately these units are, as far as I can tell, the only available remotes that work with the Quantum 3212 due to the fact that the 303 MHz band was abandoned and the 1-button model discontinued. It stinks only having the option for 3-button remotes when there's only one garage door that needs opening.

This is exactly what I have been looking for , it's exactly like my old one but NEW ! It took all of 5 minutes total to set up and I have a brand new garage door opener. My old one was was all scratched and the button was pushed in from years of use and I don't like the small one on a key chain. This one is just what I wanted and I'm very happy with it. FYI: It DID come with instructions on how to program it, I programmed it just as the old one because my husband still has his key chain one and if I changed the code his would not have worked. It's simple and took about 2 minutes to do if you read.

Our old remote control for our Quantum Model 3000 residential garage door opener suddenly went haywire and started randomly opening and closing the door. A quick online search did not yield a replacement. However after some research we found this remote which is for Wayne Dalton door openers who apparently made our Quantum door opener back in the late 1990s. Anyway, one day delivery from Amazon and I had the new opener. I was surprised to find a 9-volt battery included and it literally took about one minute to program it to our opener. Works great and does the job. UPDATE 5-31-2022: Remote is not dead. Still the lights work and it "acts" like it is working, but it no longer opens the door. Tried to reset, new battery, re-program, but it's had it. Not much choice but to buy another one and hope it will last longer. May look for a different one... :-(

This was for an older unit (2001) and I got a tip from a repair guy who could not replace mine. The price was right compared to a $69 service call (10 minutes) to tell me that his would not work.Make sure to verify the frequency rating when you order the unit

First of all, my remote fell out of my pocket and got soaked overnight. I didn't know if this would work on my 15 year old Wayne Dalton, but decided to give it a try. It came complete, with a battery already installed. Once I found where the program button was on the garage door opener, ( looked it up on line) it was super easy to follow the instructions and literally took less than 2 minutes. In fact the added bonus was that the remote allowed me to program both of the garage door openers instead of having to carry 2 remotes when I need to operate both doors. Also, it got here in 2 days.

My original garage door openers both went. Purchased this one and it seems too work as well if not better than the original. Very happy with purchase. Would recommend.

We already had 2 and wanted 2 additional openers. They were easy to set up and both new remotes work great. The only issue we have now is one of our original ones ins't working. It seems we can only have 3 set up. When we add the 4, the first one set up stops working. We've tried working through the kinks several times.

After buying 2 remotes from a big box retailer that would not program these worked fine on the first try. I would recommend.

I recently purchased a house with has the original old garage opener and only one remote. I read a lot of reviews which said the Wayne dalton systems did not work with most universal opener so I was worried I wouldn’t find anything but this worked right away! Easy to set up and works awesome, will be ordering another one!

Works great. Bought a house with no remotes included and could not find any generic/universal remotes that would operate in this frequency. 2013 Dodge ram and 2016 Silverado will not take the frequency for the built in door openers. 303mhz is an old outdated frequency used by no one but wayne dalton
