We dumped it out every other day and use bleach to keep it from ever becoming smelly
I have a garage apartment that is right off the kitchen with no bathroom. This is used for late in the evening so that my elderly mother does not have to walk through the house at night. It's perfect and very easy to clean. We made a curtain wall with PVC piping so there is privacy.

Works well, the 2 sections make it fairly easy to fill, empty & clean. I recommend the little teepee "tent" if using it outside.

I used this just one night camping and found that the under lid had water on it when I sat down as did the toilet seat. I returned this.

REPLACEMENT PARTS?
COMMENT AND QUESTION: Tent camping out west was made pleasant with this portable toilet. We only have one concern. During our travel to Arizona from Florida our toilet was snugly secured in a open overlanding trailer, the screw cover for the bottom tank was discovered missing. We highly doubt that it fell off as it had been emptied and replaced securely and believe someone may have taken it off at one of our stops, as a joke, not cool. But anyway, I have scoured the internet for a replacement screw cover to no avail. Is there a site for replacement parts?
