Love with the ring ecosystem security & cameras, keeps a record of time & date,. They work and I’m happy with the ones I have already. Cheaper buy two than separately, handy for any thing that opens and closes, I have the gen 2 alarm kit and slowly adding to the system like camera which starts recording if doors open, or window, have motion senses and be getting a couple more but this device is a helpful way to monitor snacks cupboard or medical supplies so it logs when open and how long for, so because of an ex carer I’m upgrading some stuff to same system all on one device as have other devices non ring. Ring dues what i need and I am happy with this buy extra for doors or windows etc,

Easy to install but so hard to get to stick to my shed plastic

We bought a Ring home alarm and were so impressed with it that we bought these sensors to put on every door and window in our houseThey're lightweight, look smart and are easy to attach to doors and windows with the built in adhesive stripThey connect to the app fast and easy and they have customisable sounds so that you can tell which door or window is openI like how they can be installed and have a gap between the magnet part and sensor part, because of the shape of our double glazed windows there is at least a 2cm gap when installing themWe have had some of these for over a year now and the app shows that the batteries still have plenty of juice left in them. They use the CR 2032 flat style batteriesWe did have one of the units just randomly die on us recently. So, we called Ring customer service who were very helpful. After completing a few tests on the unit as instructed over the phone, the operator said that the unit was dead and sent us out a new one free of charge. The only let down was that it was 5 days to arrive. Being a security item and an Amazon brand where you are able to have these delivered same day, I would have expected faster delivery on replacement parts so that my home didn't have to go unprotected so long

I really like this sensor as it's simple and works perfect.

These work well and are easy to link up through WiFi. Physical installation is also easy as they are supplied with a good quality self adhesive pad and screw fitting holes.Not so easy to fit neatly to window frames with a bevelled edge. They still work well but are more obtrusive.No problems with range. No issues at all really.Self adhesive is powerful and it’s essential to position the sensor precisely first time.Yes, I’m pleased with these although I feel they are more expensive than I would expect.
