When you throw this many vitamins into a single mix, of course at least something is going to help you feel better, just probably not while you're sick. Most people are deficient in several vitamins, so adding those back into your body will help you feel as good as you're supposed to normally. When you're sick, that's harder to accomplish. In just 2 capsules are: 268 mg vitamin C, 0.34 mg B1, 0.54 B2, 6.7 B3 (not sure if that's flushfree, but likely not), 6.7 mg B6, 6.7 mcg B12 (notice it's mcg not mg, so this is 0.0067 mg B12), 10 mg zinc, 161 mcg (0.161 mg) chromium, and 24 mg calcium. That's not even getting into the 67 mg of quercetin or 13 mg of L-Lysine HCl. The majrotiy of each pill, though, seems to be taken up by the Vitamin C, the gut bacteria strain, and the astralagus and echinacea extracts, so this is mostly an herbal digestive supplement, but then we get to the dosage: the recommended dosage is 14 pills in the first 4 days (4 on the first and second days, and 3 on the third and fourth days), so multiply all of those amounts by 14 to "activate the Immune Function", as described on the bottle. Now, 3,710 mg of vitamin C won't do much, but the rest of those ingredients sure will do something at that quantity oflver that period of time. Really, the only drawback is that by the time you've completed the recommended dosage, based on the current price, you've swallowed $17 worth of pills. Is this bottle worth that much to you? It's tough doing drug price conversions, but based on my cursory research, the drugs and supplements themselves shouldn't cost as much as this bottle does, so you're probably mostly paying for salaries, marketing, and R&D. You have to determine if that's worth it to you based on the effects you have. Considering it's all about your immune system, you won't know until you get sick. Considering it takes 4 days for the "Immune Function" to activate, and most illnesses that this might actually help with will self-resolve within 3 days, it's likely you'll never know if this is effective unless you're unfortunate enough to contract an infection that lasts longer than that. How well should this mix work against the flu? Pneumonia? I can't say, but in my experience, I've needed much more than these quantities to make a positive impact on my health. The only thing I can say is this mix will likely help prevent you from getting sick in the first place (if you take it daily and buy a new bottle every 8-10 days), and might help you recover more quickly from being sick. I'm not sure that it'll do more than that, but then it doesn't seem to make any claims about what it can actually do outside of very general immune support. I don't know, it seems like it's intentionally nebulous, and probably for good reason. At this price point, it's probably not worth a test, but maybe it is. That depends on you.

2 capsules 1xday: Even though it has worked well for me, this is priced extremely high in my opinion for only 15 days worth of protection. Short Summary: With having major substitute teacher shortages and working in a special needs program, I can’t get sick or take off for the sake of my students so I’m pleased these have worked so well to keep my immune system strong. Just wish they were more affordable. Additional Comments: Zero flavor when taken initially and doesn’t have bad after taste either (e.g. nasty burps). I work with 3-5 year old students… I started this when my students come and get sent to school very sick. Unfortunately a bug has made its rounds in my class, but I’ve taken daily for a full week now and thankfully haven’t picked up anything. My stomach is sensitive so nowadays I’m not willing to take on an empty stomach unless specifically stated. Having taken these either after breakfast or lunch my stomach has NOT had any problems.

I was impressed with the ingredients but a bit disappointed that the 30 pills is only a 15 day supply, which makes them rather expensive (Over $70 for a month). However, that being said, I have noticed an immediate health boost. In my own very unscientific example, hubs and I both came down with the recent dreaded illness. I received these on day 3 and started taking them as directed. By day 5, I have been able to function again, while hubs is still out of commission. I've taken a lot of vitamins and things but definitely saw the health boost with these. Again, my results are not scientific but it is my experience.

In terms of the blend, this is pretty appealing because of the inclusion of Zinc (which is known to help when you have a cold) and quercetin (which should help with immune response). I can't speak to whether or not it will actually help because I have no way of scientifically measuring the effect. I take all vitamins and supplements on faith that they will provide my body with necessary nutrients to work more effectively. I liked the ingredients list for this one, but I did find it to be less economical than some other options. In terms of taking these, they are easy enough to swallow and have no taste. I didn't experience any digestive difficulties after taking them or have any unpleasant vitamin burps.

This immune supplement offers a wonderful combination of components that may help lower the likelihood of getting sick. The mix of zinc, vitamin C, quercetin, and other ingredients appeals to me. Given that each container only provides 15 serves, the pricing is a little steep. However, if you're searching for a good vitamin combination to help you through the winter, this is something to think about. When you sense a cold coming on, take this to improve your immune system so you don't feel as bad or get sick at all. Expensive for only a 15-day supply if taken twice daily. They are simple to ingest and cause no stomach upset. It's difficult to know if they're functioning until you have cold or flu symptoms.
