other than the fact that the connector to the grill broke when I tried to put it on, I can't evaluate it from experience. This is the second one I ordered from Amazon and the first one was equally unsatisfactory. There is a fundamental design flaw with the connector. I am trying the Brinkmann light now and it connected well and I think will do well. More after I have actually used it.

It works on my grill. I have a front shelf so when the lid is down I have to lift up the light. But it bright and nice.

After 5 uses the mounting bracket broke. The light was fine but the cheap plastic mounting beacket ruined the experience.

The PicPro BBQ Grill Light is an excellent idea. The light has different levels of brightness; however, I did not get to use the grill light. I installed it on the handle of my grill and the plastic clamp broke causing the light to fall into my patio. The light still works, but I cannot attach it to my grill now. So now it is just an awkward flashlight. I would think the plastic would have been better quality to support the weight of the light on the grill so it wouldn't fall off before I even got to test it out. I am not impressed with the quality nor the longevity of this grill light. The light turns on easily with a soft touch which would have been nice for grilling, but now it is just sitting on my counter unable to be used.

Great Idea. I need a light to see at night to extend my grilling times. Bright light that has a good guarantee. If it can with stand the heat from grilling then that would be great. I am ready for spring and start that activity around the pool. I purchased this to help cook late at night. I really like this product because it comes with everything you need to get started just put in the included batteries and you are ready to go. The light has three settings High, Med, and Low and on high it is very bright and lights up almost my entire grill. This really does make late night cooking much easier and makes it very simple to see your grill so you know when your food is done. The clamp attaches easily and firmly and holds well so the light stays put. You can move the head of the light so you can point the light exactly where you need it. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy another one if I get another grill. This can also be used for other purposes as well as it can be used anywhere you need light. This light is almost perfect. It is super bright and lights up the hole grill. It also stands up to the heat just fine. Without any interference. One of the great things is it comes with its own batteries which you dont see anywhere anymore. And another thing is the touch sensor light switch. So you just tap it and you can go through 3 levels of brightness. The only problem with this is that it is very easy to accidently turn on and leave on without knowing. The other problem and what held it back from 5 stars was the fact that it needed just 1 more movable joint. If they were all movable and adjustable you could put it just where it is needed and have it looking but since one of them is stationary it is kinda cumbersome to set in the right direction. And if the hood of your grill is recessed like mine after you get it in the right spot with the grill open you have to move it again as soon as u close it or it bangs into the knobs and knocks itself off.So all in all a great light for some grills not mine but I can see the potential it has. Its also very sturdy . Dropped it a few times on a tile floor and not a scratch or crack and the touch sensor still worked and the light was still shining brightI had gotten a promo code for this in return for my honest opinion of this product.

Mit der Lampe bin ich leider überhaupt nicht glücklich:- Die Plastik-Befestigung (woanders habe ich gelesen es wäre Metall, das stimmt aber nicht - nur die Schraube und die Einpressmutter sind aus Metall) hält an meinem Weber Spirit E-320 Original GBS Grill (Mod. 2016) zwar ganz gut, wirkt aber insgesamt zu fragil. Die eingeklebte Rutschsicherung aus Gummi ist schon beim ersten Gebrauch rausgefallen, die muss ich nun bei jeder neuen Montage erneut reinpfriemeln (solange ich sie nicht verliere oder endlich doch wieder selbst reinklebe).- Die Lampe ist ziemlich groß (inkl. Befestigung ca. 19cm lang) und schwer (inkl. Batterien ca. 210g). Trotz des ebenfalls nicht leichten Deckels an meinem Grill ist das Gewicht auffällig. Durch den ungünstigen Hebelarm und die arg dünne Befestigung schwingt die Lampe auch merklich beim etwas schwungvolleren Öffnen und Schließen des Deckels mit bzw. verstellt sich dabei einfach in den vorhandenen Gelenken oder kippt direkt in der Klemme weg (zu fest zudrehen sollte man die Klemme wirklich nicht...). Im ungünstigsten Fall klappt die Lampe beim Schließen des Deckels gegen den heißen Grill.- Die Lampe darf lt. Anleitung nicht dauerhaft im Freien am Grill montiert bleiben, sonst droht Korrosion. Nachdem die Befestigung so schwächlich ausfällt ist das natürlich für die mutmaßliche Haltbarkeit der Klemme keine gute Nachricht. Es gibt zwar tatsächlich keine größeren Öffnungen wo Feuchtigkeit und Schmutz eindringen können, aber auch keinerlei Dichtungen zum Schutz der Innereien. Das wirft zusätzlich die Frage auf, wie die Lampe auf mittlere Sicht mit aufsteigendem Rauch, Dampf und Fett zurecht kommt, wenn die Lampe am Deckelgriff befestigt wird und der Grill öfters offen ist, und auch, wie die Lampe mit einsickerndem "leichtem Regen" (s. Werbeangabe Stand 13.4.2016) klar kommen soll. Die Werbeangabe "erträgt Hitze bis 270°C" mag stimmen, aber natürlich nur in entsprechendem Abstand von der Hitzequelle.- Die Touch-Funktion funktioniert zwar bislang sehr gut, ist aber leider nicht zuende gedacht: Durch den einzelnen Touch wird die Lampe zunächst eingeschaltet, dann heller, dann ganz hell und erst dann wird soe schließlich wieder ausgeschaltet, auch wenn die Lampe schon etwas länger eingeschaltet war. Will man nur mal eben nach dem Grillgut sehen (die fahle Lampe will man ganz sicher nicht ungemütlich den ganzen Abend angeschaltet lassen, s.u.) muss man also zwangsläufig vier mal tippen, um die Lampe erst an- und danach wieder auszuschalten (die Artikelbeschreibung ist insofern sehr ungenau). Da es auch für low-cost LED-Taschenlampen schon lange eine sinnvollere Logik gibt (z.B. jeweils 1x kurzes Tippen für Ein-/Ausschalten, mehrmals schnell nacheinander Tippen oder langes Tippen, um die Helligkeit zu verändern), ist mir die Lösung zu unbequem. Ein Vergleich mit der deutlich teureren Lösung von Weber verbietet sich natürlich, die extrem bequem nur auf Bewegung reagiert.- In der Praxis das wohl Wichtigste: Die Beleuchtung ist zwar recht hell, aber extrem fahl und bläulich, wie auch in einer der bisherigen besseren Bewertungen beschrieben. Eben so, wie man angeblich "weiße" LEDs vor 5 Jahren produziert hat. Die Farbtemperatur liegt (wenn man meiner alten Nikon D80 glauben darf) bei ca. 7700K, erst dann wird auf Aufnahmen aus dem Blauton ein halbwegs passables Neutralweiß. Noch wichtiger: Eine richtige Beurteilung des Grillguts und Grillfortschritts ist mit der Lampe m.E. nicht möglich, da das emittierte Licht viel zu wenig Rot- und (damit) Braunanteile enthält, so wie sie typischerweise in Blut und nach der Maillard-Reaktion auf dem Fleisch vorkommen. Tipp: Schwarz ist wieder gut erkennbar. Dann wäre das Grillgut vor drei Minuten fertig gewesen ;)Fazit: Für den Grill - wie beworben - würde ich die Lampe definitiv auf keinen Fall nochmals kaufen. Für die Werkstatt-Grabbelkiste ist sie OK, dafür hätte ich die Lampe zu dem Preis aber nicht gekauft.Ach ja: Ich habe die Lampe nicht kostenlos oder vergünstigt zum Testen erhalten, sondern regulär bei bpoasm im Marketplace für € 18,90 (das scheint für Lampen dieser Bauart aktuell der marktübliche Preis zu sein) gekauft. Die Lieferung kam wie immer sehr schnell (Prime).Bilder (ich kann die Reihenfolge leider nicht verändern):- Testaufnahmen von einer mit der Lampe bestrahlten weißen Fläche mit WB-Voreinstellung auf 6700K (bläulich) und 7700K (halbwegs neutralweiß)- Lampe mit Lineal- Testaufnahme von einer mit der Lampe bestrahlten weißen Fläche mit WB-Voreinstellung auf 5000K (extrem bläulich)- Lampe geöffnet von hinten (keine Dichtung vorhanden)- Lampe geöffnet von vorne (keine Dichtung vorhanden)

Bei unseren nahezu täglichen Grillabenden im Sommer fehlte einfach mal eine anständige Grillbeleuchtung.Als ich diese Lampe bei amazon gesehen habe, bestellte ich sie kurzerhand.Und was soll ich sagen, mit der flexiblen Befestigungsmöglichkeit und den drei Helligkeitsstufen, die per touch angewählt werden, ersetzt diese Lampe nun sehr komfortabel die Handytaschenlampen, wodurch man nun beide Hände zum arbeiten hat ;-)Jetzt muss ich mir leider nur überlegen eine weitere Lampe zu kaufen, da meine liebe Frau die Vorteile der Lampe alsbald erkannt hat und die Lampe einfach am Kinderwagen befestigt hat, für die abendlichen Spaziergänge;-)

Schön helles Licht in drei Abstufungen, leuchtet die 60cm Breite meines Napoleon Gasgrills gut aus. Das Gehäuse dürfte gerne etwas kleiner sein, beim Zuklappen des Deckels ist es etwas im Weg und steht vor. Der Berührungsschalter ist eine gute Idee, funktioniert prima. Da der Grill bei mir geschützt steht, kann ich zur wasserdichtigkeit nichts sagen.

Das licht war sehr hell. Jedoch ist bei mir als ich es fest geschraubt habe gleich der hintere Halter abgebrochen. Deshalb ging es dann aucg gleich zurück. Für das Geld bekommt man definitv bessere Grilllichter.

Ein Feuerzeug macht mehr Licht ... hat leider gar nicht gehalten was es versprochen hat. Die Befestigung lies auch zu wünschen übrig. Einfach nur schlecht.
