This spider RC is very cool and very easy to use for almost any age. It comes with 1 remote with all the buttons clearly labeled. It also has the ability to shoot out a vapor which turns red or blue with the lights. It does this by using a small syringe that it comes with that you use to fill a small reservoir in the spider. It actually goes pretty long before you have to refill it. It also plays music with a touch of the button. It sounds like old video game music you remember from years ago. It also has a 1 touch demo mode which the spider moves on its own and shows itself off. My floor is slippery gloss wood so it did slide a little trying to move but should go fine on most floors except maybe a real high pile carpet.

When I received this I had to add batteries to use it. Once that was done the “Spider” was filled with water and I turned on and it was very easy to use. It was especially fun in a dark and using the spray which lights up the mist! The kids had a lot of fun chasing each other around with it. It can’t be used on a bumpy surface, the bottom is to close to the ground. Inside and on a low carpet or kitchen floor and it works great. The spraying was a bonus! I would get my grandkids a couple to play against each other! I have purchased items from DEERC before and they are easy to get ahold of and very responsive and back their products 100%!

This toy is a good one for kids 8+ year old. Works good on tiles or wood and no so good on carpet. Battery (5) are Not included and can be a little bit challenging for a kit to replace the battery (AA) need to remove a small screw to be able to reach the battery (screw driver included). I don’t think it will work for a prank. Fun toy for kids Thank you

This spider sets up quick and has a little water reservoir on the bottom side of the mouth. It is a cool little spider, but I think the music is a bit much for a remote control spider. The remote seemed to have a lag or get "Stuck" while using it. Sometimes if you let go of the forward or backwards button it would keep going in the direction it was instead of stopping. Also, it would sometimes not go forward or backwards when pressing the button either. This works best on a low carpet or rug, but works okay on wood floors, and not at all on thick carpet or rugs.Overall it works and my son loves it so thats all that matters, but don't think that this will be some funny thing to use to scare people...it is much too noisy and flashy lights to do that.

At first I wasn't very happy with my purchase because they toy wasn't functioning properly so I had left a review stating the problem with it and was going to leave it at that, but they actually made the effort to reach out to me and send me a replacement without having to go thru the hassle of returning the defective one. I'm very glad they reached out to me because my son loves this toy. It was a great birthday present for my 8 year old.

If you have cats they will be very interested in this spider. This is an all around fun toy, whether you use it with pets or not. The spray doesn't go but about 3 inches which is good and it lights up. The ice cream truck music sounds if you push the center button, otherwise it will make sounds that represent what the spider is doing like spraying or an initial sound when you first turn it on. Easy to maintain, you just add some water and replace the cap, turn it on from the bottom switch and then get your remote cause it's ready to go. Kids will love it!

I purchased this for my little brother for Christmas. I thought it was really cool, my brother loved it. Doesn't come with batteries so you have to buy those separate but it's a cool toy overall even without the steam.

Got this for my son because he loves spiders and robots. The features work great especially the mist spray and movement. The remote on ours stopped working after a day though when it did work, it was incredibly fun! I contacted the seller and they rectified the issue right away! Shipped out replacement very quickly too. We can't wait to recieve it.
