I am unable to get in and out of my bathtub. I have a lot of knee problems. This is perfect. You lift it into the tub. It suction cups itself to the tub. Then you use the control to place it in the raised position like you would sit in a chair. You get in and sit down like in a chair, then you use the control to lower yourself into the tub. Fill your tub with water, take a bath, let the water out. Then use the control to raise yourself out of the tub. Stand up, step out, done. It is so wonderful to be able to take a nice hot bath again.

I am extremely pleased with the MAIDeSITe Electric Chair Lift. I have recommended it to my friends, to my husband's doctors and nurses, and to my husband's physical therapists. The chair is easy to use, easy to clean, and sturdy. I have only one user comment: The suction cups are very strong and hold tightly to hard floors. Check the suction cups from time to time to make sure they remain tightly screwed into the chair base, and use the suction cup tabs to detach the chair lift from the floor when putting it away.My husband has a cancer which caused permanent nerve damage in his leg. He falls frequently. He can't get up from the floor by himself, and I can't lift him unaided. The MAIDeSITe Electric Chair Lift is exactly the tool we need to raise him from the floor to a sitting height, which is high enough for him to stand using his walker. Without the MAIDeSITe Electric Chair Lift I would be forced to call the paramedics to help him get off the floor, or injure myself and him trying to lift him by hand.

I am not very much into giving reviews on any product I buy online but this time the quality of this product and its functionality calls for it. Buying this Chair Lift for me has been a tremendous help and a game changer in the care I provide for my husband. I was surprised how well this device work because is like having a portable small elevator from the floor to a sitting position available to you when you need it!I never expected to find this innovative and well-made product in the market when I started to shop for some aids or techniques to help someone who has fallen or slide to the floor to stand up with the least of the efforts from them or the helper or care giver. This is a product that really works, well built and very easy to handle. It is more than a blessing if the person who needs to stand up help themselves to be positioned on the chair but if that is not the case it cost little effort for you and any care giver to sit him or her on the Chair Lift since it has 2 extended ramps to the side that facilitates that person to be positioned on the Chair. It is easy to carry, though a little bit heavy, any regular standard size person can handle it with ease.The Chair Lift It is definitely a high quality, durable product with very sturdy material used in its fabrication. It is a definitely a plus especially with respect to accessibility, safety and care-giving in general.I have used it sometimes for my husband when he slides to the floor and can’t get back up. The caregiver and I positioned him back into the Chair Lift and he was up in his feet in not time! Definitely a great purchase and I highly recommend this product. It saves me time, it gives me a peace of mind knowing I can handle falls in case I need it, it gives me independence from external help and has made my life more stress free knowing that I can help my husband in an easy and safe way.The customer service is also excellent. There is a real person on the other side of the phone line willing to listen to your concerns and gives you immediate answers. It is really a nice surprise since most of the service provided for mechanical or digital devices you buy online are not that responsive.So, I definitely give this business five thumbs up!! Lift not quite tall enough for a “on the floor to stand up” result and somewhat difficult to get into the proper position on the device from the floor. I would be reluctant to use in a tub as the instructions say you can but the design is such that you could theoretically. Lot of compromises made in the design I suspect.

I loved this chair lift! Very sturdy and well made. I did have to return it because my 87 year old mother was just too weak to get herself onto the lift after being in the floor.The chair raises to a nice height for anyone having knee problems or leg weakness and have trouble standing from a sitting position. Very stable, no side to side wobble.
