I wasn't sure about these when I ordered them but I've spent the last two days putting them on ANY cord I can find! I've even ordered a second set.My cat was always eating my headphones if I accidently left them out, as well as my ipad and phone cords. When she ate through the thinner end of my $80 Macbook cord I had enough. I have put these on all types of cords and they are perfect!They do take time to apply, and not just minutes like the description says - but it's worth it. They are also not quite long enough for a full Ipad or phone cord, but that's easily solved by buying two packs or combining two colors. I tried the twisted method as well combining two colors (as seen on the grey and pink cord) and it was plenty long. I can't wait for the second pack to arrive! Not only do they work for keeping my cat off the cords, but they also help stop fraying and the best part is now we know who's cords are whos depending on color!

So I have some Razer gaming headphones with a wire that coils no matter what I do. I've done the whole under/over method and all that to try and keep my wire from twisting and coiling, but it no matter how delicately I handled the wire, nothing worked. And I would be pestered by the twists when wearing the headphones. That's why I sought a product like this. It took me a while to find the right product that could protect and keep my cable from getting messed up.After buying these, I'm pleasantly surprised by how great they work. Sure, it took some time to put on, especially since Razer cables/wires are insanely long. It took me about two and a half cable protector's to get my wire all wrapped up. As for the time it took to actually wrap around my wire, it's hard to say because I did it in between a boss battle and game cut-scenes. If I actually sat and focused on the wire, it would probably only have taken less than 30 minutes.I love the color choices and love that they went with my current color scheme for my setup. Color aside, the protectors have been holding up well and do the job. My cable no longer annoyingly coils and my headphones are a lot easier to handle now. So definitely a win for me!

I bought these to put on my MacBook Air cord so, I wouldn't have to use electrical tape that I had to use on my old Mac. You would think that Apple would make cords that last with what you pay for them!!! I did the entire cord for both ends for my computer and the charger. It does take a LOT of time to wrap around the cord, but since I am very OCD, I din't mind it and the cord it sturdy.
